@@UltraLaidback I'd say that's pretty decent seeing as you can already buff yourself in such a variety of ways. And it's not like it goes away mid fight either like every other non talisman buff. Or even most talisman buffs too for that matter. It's gone after you die, and 20% is always much better than anything less, like always. So other than losing any buffs from armor pieces or whole armor sets, there aren't really any significant dowsides to deter you other than not wanting to look like a dragon/human hybrid or not wanting to buff a build your not using. BTW, solid video man! Keep up the good work!

at around 1:38 , i saw that when he was using lightning spear, a shadow of mimic tear comes roams and then disappear. is it any ashes? how to get? and will it attack the enemy?

I believe what you are referring to is the phantom which is just showing another player. You can't interact with them nor can they help you unless you use one of the multiplayer fingers

My damage output with dragon priest is generally higher, but Id imagine where you are testing and what you are testing on plays a role. With 80 faith, the dragon priestess will 2 shot the hornsent wandering in Bonny Village. Thats on NG+6. If built right, I end up with 65+ resistance across the board in dragon form.

Yes if you build for it the dragon priestess damage is insane, i made a video testing the damage output of both dragon forms on my channel if you want to check them out.

Unequivocally yes. #1. it's armor and doesn't require you to be naked unlike the dragon priestess form. #2. the lightning damage bonus on the armor applies to all lightning damage weapon skills in addition to dragon cult incantations while the dragon priestess bonus only applies to incantations. #3. the damage bonus may be lower but it is passive. The bonus from the dragon priestess form requires that you activate the consumable again, initiating a long highly interruptible animation that grants the bonus for about 60s. More importantly, if you activate the consumable while the buff is active, you will play the animation but the buff duration will not refresh.

@@AmorphisBob i didn’t notice any additional damage with the blink bolt ash of war with the armor set to be honest but i also didn't do a rigorous test to ensure it gave a ash of war boost

@@UltraLaidback Tested it with lightning slash and it does in fact add about a 10% bonus to the lightning damage of the ash. keep in mind it doesn't affect the regular weapon attacks at all (even when buffed with the ash's lingering lightning damage)

Unfortunately only the dragon cult incantations are buffed as far i as know. I have tested the whole set with the blink bolt ash of war and didn't notice a increase with the armor vs without.

it buffs the thunderbolt ash of war version but for the other lighting ashes of war, im not sure. the description on the armor specifically states it buffs ancient dragon cult skills and incantation. and the thunderbolt ash of war list its an ancient dragon cult skill

Both the Death Knight armour and Dragon Priestess form is Awesome and I would do exactly like you said (armour for hybrid and Form for pure caster).I’d go Hybrid with one of their axes (Most folk lean toward the two-Hander but I’m leaning toward the dual axes). Pull from afar and blinkbolt to them up close. Great Video !!!
