Are you using circle hooks? Your setting that hook on a tiger shark everytime buddy 😂 great video!

I’m using j-hooks here- although I also use circle hooks and still set the hook when I lead the fish- it’ll be a slower sweep through 2/3 of the hook set and a hard pull on the last 1/3 - there is a lot of days I won’t hook up at all unless I lead the fish 10-20 feet

What are the model rods and reels?

The grey rods are custom- I’m working on getting the producer to commit to building them for folks who ask before I put the name out there- I’ve used white rods which are the old model Surge - reels are Abu Garcia 7000’s and Penn Fathoms- thanks for watching!
