What does the Z-shaped piece of wood do?
@corentinheinix8252Күн бұрын
I think it’s just a piece to get the size for the cut
@LeonWiddicombe9 сағат бұрын
sets the distance for the piece to be cut, the piece being cut is then free on it's end (like when making a mitre sled cut) and can't get wedged between stop block and black and kick back..

It the uneven circle attaches to something on the bench, so when you spin it it pushes the wood square, which lets you clamp an object up against the opposing wood piece
