Hey, thanks. The knob settings should be as shown in the background of each respective clip. There’s not really a way to see where the secondary functions are set after you’ve saved a sound unfortunately.

Thanks a lot! I’m out of town for a week but can have a look when I get back if you remind me. I didn’t use any of the presets and the sounds are all just from knob-twiddling against a reference until I was happy. Unfortunately when you save a sound you can’t see where the knobs were set but I could tell you the jazz/rock and speaker settings and the stuff that is visible under the hood.

Hey, thanks. I debated doing that again but there’s so many unseen functions within the app for this one and almost every knob has a secondary function. Ultimately I decided it wasn’t adequately representational of what was going on to justify the extra work. Apologies.

Thanks! Just the Enigmatic into the Apollo. I had an old TS-9 in line I thought I might use but never turned it on as the drive sounded so good on the UA. I pushed it a tiny bit with the FET Driver in the Robben Ford section but the drive was virtually off. That’s the only part that features another stompbox.

Thanks for saying, Walker. Very much appreciated. The Prophet is so inspiring. I didn’t think it would be as audibly superior to my software synths as it seems to be so hopefully this doesn’t send me down another very expensive rabbit hole when I have to give it back in December. And that was a very cool track. I love the reflective video of the clouds on the lake too.

@NaturalIntensity69 I’ve never tried an Axis Fuzz or the Red Velvet, unfortunately. I had the RM Voodoo Vibe for a while and that definitely wasn’t my favourite Univibe pedal. I was under the impression the Chase Tone stuff are Fuzz Face variants but I could be mistaken. I’d really like to try the Red Velvet based on how much I enjoy the Fuzz Fella. If I do you’ll definitely see a video here.
@anthonybennici8748
@anthonybennici8748 5 ай бұрын
@@BrendanMowatSmith The Fuzz Fellas/Red Velvet are all Fuzz Face variants to my knowledge. I think the Red Velvet BC183 is voiced to be more like a germanium Fuzz Face. I found it to be a bit more raw, aggressive, and tighter sounding than the Blue BC108 and it didn't quite clean up the same. The Teal BC109 kinda goes between the two, and in my opinion is maybe the most flexible. It can do the more aggressive stuff like the Red BC183, but can be smoothed out to be more like the Blue BC108. The Feel knob also seems to have a wider range, so you can get smoother or spittier fuzz tones beyond your typical Fuzz Face. All in all, the Blue BC108 might be my slight favorite. There's just something special about the way it's voiced that's perfect for my tastes. Can't go wrong with any of them though - Chase Tone makes great pedals!
