Kudos to you my friend! I have the same problem. Going to Acadia next week. That 10 feet without anything to hold on to is what sealed the deal for me. Won’t be doing it😢.

This is the best Precipice Trail video on KZbin. I know that physically I could do it but mentally: nope. I’m out. I’d fall off just from fright. Back in the 60’s my parents climbed it on their honeymoon having no idea what they were getting in to. Makes for a funny story still today 😅

Best Precipice Trail video I’ve seen! Well done! I kind of want to do this when I travel to Acadia this coming October, but as a solo hiker, I’m concerned that isn’t such a smart thing to do in case of injury. What would be your thoughts?
@t80mitchell2 жыл бұрын
You won't be alone. This isn't a wilderness type trail with nobody in sight. It is quite popular and short enough where you'll encounter people.

Would you consider this trail scarier than Beehive? I did Beehive and it was pretty scary to me.
@t80mitchell2 жыл бұрын
I actually felt the same about the Beehive. Most of the Precipice I believe the focus was on the ladders and rails. There were only a couple locations I was anxious about. If you did the Beehive I'm confident you can do the Precipice with maybe a tad more anxiety.

I saw the video...your wife has clearly some movement problem (not to be mean but is just the truth)...now the hike at the end was not so difficult and thats good but the test was not passed and that needed at least some consideration about the continuing...i dont know your channel but my idvise is not to bring your wife into climbing route also considering the fact that descending is always more demanding than climbing up and what looks easy then become a problem.

She actually passed the test. I was near in case there was a concern, but she refused my assistance as you can see in the video.

Which would you say is worse for the person with a slight fear of heights. Precipice or beehive?
@t80mitchell4 жыл бұрын
My opinion only as I have more than a slight fear. Neither is a concern for someone with a slight fear and both are worth doing. I was paying attention to the Beehive views and I was paying attention to the Precipice experience.

GREAT solution for people who don't have a big desk. Me personally i invested in a studio RTA desk and all 3 items fit on the bottom of the desk and then on the top i have to matching 27" dual screens with a mount so the top tier of the desk is completely free and thats where i placed my monitors and computer speakers. Just thought i would let you know because nobody ever gave me advice on what desk to get to make them all fit and i only dreamed of owning native instruments gear didn't know GOD would bless me with all the gear. BTW this just earned you a loyal subscriber ! I"m you're 19th subscriber! Thumbs up #59. PLEASE subscribe back. GOD Bless.

Bang (no touchy-feely stuff) on the pads and show me how sturdy the stand is. In order to get velocity changes the pads need a good hit.
@t80mitchell7 жыл бұрын
I can hit it with a hammer ;) Truth - there is minor sway with super hard hits. The sway is gone with a heavier keyboard or if I add weight to the front feet of the stand. The stand can't be used without a keyboard in place or weights on the feet.

wondering how finger drumming works on thisnvertical setup... might be a bit unstable ... ?
@t80mitchell7 жыл бұрын
It depends on the keyboard weight and what material you make the backboard. The melamine I used is too heavy and the Kontrol S49 is a light keyboard so the mix isn't great. If I were hitting the pads HARD I would put a little weight on the front legs of the stand. If the wood was lighter and possible a heavier keyboard it wouldn't matter as much.

Excellent! Thanks for sharing! - I have a question, though: What computer monitors are you using? I've been considering getting an LG 34UC98-W, which has a curved, 34" screen, with a decent IPS 3440x1440 resolution, but that baby is really expensive. For the record, I'm also a Native Instruments fan, though I use Logic Pro X as my DAW, instead of Ableton Live. Peace.

TY and YW. They are Asus VE247 which are an older model and today are $131 each. I much prefer having three for business purposes, but not for gaming. I have yet to find a rear mount stand which holds all three level. When I have email on one, a spreadsheet on another, and the third for anything else, I don't care. The one you are researching is pretty good, but you are also chasing technology a bit. Buy the 34" for gaming and videos or buy two to three big 27"+ monitors with stand costing less money for productivity.
