If Apollo Creed's widow was watching Rocky Balboa in an unsanctioned match against Ivan Drago after Apollo got killed in the ring during an exhibition match against Drago in Las Vegas, she must've been worried sick as Rocky fought real hard to avenge Apollo's defeat.

Notice how the Apollo trunks have stars on the blue vertical stripes.but when tommy wears them.stars are gone.same as champion belt.the past champ placards are missing

The way production linked Drago’s punches with the blue screen was like those were the “Brain Damaging” blows..

I think people really forget the violent trauma and brutality that Drago did to Rocky, and that it was a fight he never has recovered from because you don’t recover from something like this.

Watching this scene then watching Rocky talking with Adonis tells you all you need to know. When the adrenaline and rage was gone Rocky was literally broken.

This is why I'll always defend Rocky V. Rocky IV gave us the Hollywood Ending, and Rocky V gave us the a realistic outcome of what it's like to take that level of punishment to the skull, and keep coming back.
