You first run the .exe. Then you must not forget to mark and activate the packs in the route, under the 'build' menu.

Well, it should be the audio and the headlights. But you need to activate it in the build menu, in the route. For me they all work (with some flaws, which is why some are free now).

Tha vanishing I can't explain, unless it's from an untrusted/unofficial source. But once the enhancement is installed you should go into the build menu and activate it on the route. That will get you the lights.

Ohhh and also the reason why the gp38-2 disappeared, it was because i didn't activate the light enhancement 😅😅😅

@@JPS2K5 Haven’t played TRS on pc yet but did play TRS3 on Mobile and it looks generally the same. For the scenarios yeah they don’t really exist other than just Free Roam

It's very high on immersion. I like how you load goods and actually see the stuff going into the wagons. Also, you'll see things like bulldozers actually working on railroad improvements or construction, as you go along. I see something new every time I play, but like JPS has said, finding the free routes, made by other players, is a real chore. That said, this is still much more involved that TSW4.

I knew I wasn't the only one who thought this, every other sound in the game drowns out the sound of the locomotive. I work next to a rail line and it will shake the entire building when they load the engines up on the grade.

Im like 99% sure this dumbass who made the video fucking removed the engine sound from the locomotive 😂 They’re usually pretty loud in my experience

This one should be as simple as running the installation .exe and then enabling it in the build menu, on the route. (manual states in the scenario, but if you do it in the route it will be enabled for all scenarios at once).

@@JPS2K5 I ment like locomotive enhancement packs and horn changes and can it apply with this method if there is another method please tell me.

@@Sam_isNamibian Searchlight packs in general work like I've described. Other packs very much have their own method, or even just copying everything into the assets folder. But they normally come with a description or manual/readme.txt on what to do.

@@JPS2K5 I do follow the read me file and I follow all the steps but all the time they don't work but the only time a pack worke was the searchlight simulations tehachipi loop and the horn and bell changed but from the outside it was invisible so sorry for all the questions but I'm gonna need a thorough understanding. Thank you for all you're help and time so far!

@@Sam_isNamibian As far as I know SS did not make a specific pack for Tehachapi and it's a pack from trainsimcommunity.com, wich requires a specific SS pack to be pre-installed. So, what did you donwload from where, and how does it look in your assets folder?
