You just made me notice that as Paul gains power that he, just like Jessica, begins to wear more and more heavier layers of clothing. At first he has nothing, then he wears thin hoods, then thicker ones, until he is draped in multiple layers under the weight of prophecy. Under the fate of the universe. Near the end he completely covers his face from view when he goes into battle with his Feydakin. It may have more meaning, it alludes to the larval phases of the sand trout, and the evolution they can bring. Book readers know what I speak of, it happens in book 3. This is just foreshadowing of that transformation. And finally that shot of a possible future with Jamis where he wears the most concealing hood he looks most like Emperor Muad'dib to me. Hidden from the universe, looking inwards, falling inwards.
