I worked in a company for 2 months and because of health issues I wasn't able to continue working or serve notice period and I informed my TL then I was released instantly on medical grounds ..as per fnf , I have to pay back one month's salary for not serving notice period then only will they issue me a releiving cum experience letter but I'm not financially in a state to pay the amount. Can I ask for negotiation in recovery amount or is there any other way to deal with this?

1). Be on time. 2). Be responsible for the given time and go on extra mile. 3).You are always observed. What kind of task you have performed and at how muc time. Make extra attention to detail. 4). Be familiarize with your softwares. 5). Avoid being invisible. 6). Don't be part of office politics. 7). Be keen to learn. What work you are doing daily. Reporting properly. Don't over do. Keep your boss updated whatever task assigned you by the external team. Keep your boss on loop. 8). Ask questions for better understanding. Ask lots of questions.make sure go above and beyond. 9). Be a team player 10). Explore learning style. Logical, physical, social learner. 11). Set probation strategy like 1 month goal, 2 months goal. Keep asking for feedback with boss. Convey training needed since new software you are using or something that you have not done in the past.

Hi I’m in a predicament whereby I have joined a new company and worked very hard however they extended my probabtion by 3 months due to ‘quality and performance’ . However I was one of only a few who were ‘multi skilled’ so when I had my first month in this other sector I was obviously not going to be an expert. Now my work colleague who was also multiskilled with me he was under another manager , he had many absences , fails in quality and performance not great as well but his manager passed him. When I bought This up to my manager she said ‘I don’t know what other managers do but I did what’s right ‘ she keeps telling me not to worry but I don’t trust her because she screwed me over for no reason. What can I do? Is it worth doing a grievance or complaint to HR? Or should I just try to pass this period? She said I shouldn’t worry but u know any little slip up and they can dismiss me. As it was mentioned earlier that you can leave immediately while in your probation, and also you legally do not have to serve the notice period. if they are holding you back then that's illegal on their part, and you can file a complain against them.

I had submiited my resignation, then my home manager told me if we find the replacement we will let u go then the got to know that there is no back fill, when i team manager he said go and get the lwd from delivery manager, i asked him then he told i will update to u in 2 days. Then he is asking me to serve 90 days at last. I had medical emergency which is severe anemia and ptsd, during job and my blood drop than before, he is telling me to take leave(i even told u told me the same before but my health is not improving 8-7.5 blood drop)and not allowing me to release. Can i talk with hr about my medical release and ask for release on medical grounds. My manager is denying the fact for early release. Can someone suggest wht to do. There are even rejecting my time sheet that u have to come to office . I am not feeling well. I kept all the documents and mails to them, but they wont respond.

The reason that they doing exit is becuase they dont want you to sue them in the future for wrongful termination. Never do exit interviews specially if you been laid off.

Hi mam, I have 60 days notice period but I need to relieve before 30 days due to my father health condition and buyout option is entitled with company. As below sentence is mentioned in my offer letter • In the event of termination of services by either party, the applicable notice period will be 60 days for all the employees. The Company is also entitled to either waive the notice period in part or in full at its sole discretion or require payment of equivalent base salary with applicable taxes in lieu of the unserved notice period. The Company further reserves the right to terminate with sooner effect by tendering equivalent base salary in lieu of the notice period subject to the employment history / terms applicable as per the Company’s exit policy. My HR said no possibilities to leave in notice period. Could you help me mam !

Hi M’am u have explained quite clearly , I work as a teacher and have got a new job in another education organisation, my previous organisation where I was working had one month notice period..I had put my resignation in vacation in 2nd week of May and had asked for a release date in 2nd week of June considering one month notice, they said it has to b working notice which is entire month of June, I said I cannot wait the entire month and buy out what is not served by me, the Organisation has withheld my May salary too and also asking me to work entire June even if I have given option of buyout ..suggest me what to be done, what if I don’t go to work ahead since my May salary is on hold, whatever days I have completed in the month of June is with the old organisation since I’m more focused on working in the new organisation

The probation usually can’t be extended for more than 3 months. What are the reasons for Salary reduction? Are they doing a periodic review of your probation? They need to explain why your probation is extended.
