This. I have been stressing for days now over a curriculum for my middle child, because "I" had a plan for what he was "supposed" to do and where he was "supposed" to be, which is not the same as my older child. Thank you for being a vessel for God to speak to my heart.

@@Youmayhavepeace Thankyou❤️ The hardest thing about our lives is that we live in India, and we have to stay inside our apartment almost all the time. Partly because of the heat and partly because my husband is paranoid of us being kidnapped. I try to count my blessings. Please pray for our ministry! Oh man.. I naturally made a common place book.. 😅 I love your videos, you’ve been so helpful and have spoken to so much of my walk as a mom. I found Jesus 3 years ago, I was an alcoholic who yelled constantly. Now I’m a homeschool satm with 2 more babies and I love God. Thank you for your videos. Jesus changes everything

I can’t put into words the amount of my walk with God in Christ and as a parent and mother you just explained and summed up in one video. You said everything God has pointed me to do in raising my kids, and I’m not always the best at it and I needed this video dearly. God spoke through you to me, one of the things he told me about a year ago was to “win my son’s heart” and I don’t want to fail at that. I think if it works, go for it. I’m too flippant and poor with schedules that I can’t uphold to the standard of any label. I’ve always shot from the hip and go for whatever feels organic with each kid 😂 I strive to keep routines and set goals but my homeschool is much more relaxed than most 😬😅 Even under the term, unschooling So math with someone could happen right before bed with stuffed animals Or reading by way of the box of cereal on the counter Science happens in outside play and I’ll teach a lesson on seasons when we’re waiting in line at the pharmacy I think a lot of folks overthink things out of fear of failing their kids 🙏🏼💜

So true how the parents are is the most important thing for developing children. If you're always stressed, angry or abusive that will affect them and like give wounds for life. Be honest, kind, show that you love and respect your children as themselves. And take care of yourself, if you're happy and health the children will feel that. Important to remember too that no parent is perfect or always happy, that will teach children too. And if you want your children to grow Christian, you can't spank or force it into them like many unfortunately try to do but show them the love of Jesus and how it affects your life. If you love God they will likely love God too. Though you can never know for sure or force a child to follow the same path.

This video brought tears to my eyes. I have four homeschooler children and they’re 6, 6, and 7. My baby is 2.5. I cried when you said chubby cheeks. I absolutely love this job and I’m so grateful I get to teach them every day. This video was a beautiful reminder to keep the main thing the making thing ❤

I'm a mama with 15 years of homeschooling under my belt, and still going strong. I have bookshelves full of curricula, you name it, I probably have it. I can attest that this video is the truth, there is NO perfect curriculum. Thank you for sharing this message.
