I recall watching this at 16 years old. The rivalry w/Ohno & Ahn. My family & I cheering so hard for Apolo! He shot out like a rocket! Fav skater🚀 💪🏽

Typical Americans. Not even a mention of the winner Steven Bradbury from Australia. Sure, he came from behind, but you take the risk, you sometimes pay the consequences. Steven had been skating for 14 years, had sufferred a horryifying broken neck, and raced the way he thought he needed to to have any possibility. In Australia we're gracious in defeat. Fair dinkum, imagine asking "if there wasn't a crash would you have won"? Well there was a crash you dick, and he didn't.

That was such a false start by Ohno. I only noticed this today, watching classic clips from the Olympics site today for Winter 2018.

It's actually any kind of movement by the body before the gun...twitching hands, leaning forward... you have to be motionless.
