Ah yes that -30 is only temp and it is for that ship give it roughly 15/ 20 mins [[ could be 10 never timed it myself]] and things return to normal

@@malkano8621 Well, no, that ship was in a fleet and the whole fleet of 20+ ships turned -30 to me. Needless to say I didn't make it out alive. The faction standing those ships belonged to however didn't change and stayed at +20. Down side I wasn't able to capture the ship. I tried for another 6 hours hitting up various other sizes of ships from various factions. I was using a ship which held 19 marines, but I was never able to successfully capture a single ship. Even smaller ship which have smaller crews than the size of the force I sent over, would just sit in the 1st stage of progress for several minutes then the ship would jump away in a ball of lightning while stuck in my warp interdiction bubble and a significant distance from any jump gate. I'm fairly satisfied that it is a broken game mechanic that perhaps only actually works in a custom game. Have you had any real success with this in an actual game?

you either need a powerful frigate that can do high damage like a (Dragon-Split ship or another Destroyer of course) but like he said you don't need to get rid of the shields to do it you might need to take out the turrets because they can kill your marines in the boarding process, It'll take longer to do it that way and saves you a big repair bill.

There's no possible way you "heard them just fine" unless you turned your volume completely up and put your ears inside the speaker, or used headphones with zero background noise. Please don't make things out to be what they are not. I heard him just fine also, after turning up my very loud speaker system with subwoofer completely up and little to no background noise. 😡

Ok the way rep loss is handled is if you kill things. IE the turrets or shields when you do a boarding operation at full shield and hull you aren’t killing anything. To make it faster you take down the shield and then the hull to 80 percent. You must kill the automatic distress beacon as well (( if there is one)

Scanning causes rep loss as well. I scanned one allied ship, got a comm message bout "not authorized" and lost a full point of rep.

@@K162KingPin It's doesn't matter because he is cheating by telling everyone so he doesn't lose reputation, ofcourse he doesn't lose rep because the ship doesn't belong to any fraction, no offence @malkano8621 as boarding tutorial video is great but try boarding a ship which belongs to any fraction and check how many points of rep you'll lose

Thanks for the comment, the reason why the quantity is so low is to keep prices roughly the same because if you flood the market the prices decrease. This was a way to somewhat AFK auto trade when you can’t with a 1 star pilot. As for the video itself? It was a small tutorial you can set the limits to whatever you want :)

Yeah, this video I didn’t do a decent job in the audio department. My other videos are better and I am actively working on a better audio in general right now.

@@malkano8621 I'm just getting my kid into the game, he's going to be disappointed to hear Jedi class is so elusive. I appreciate that they want to make it challenging, but a lot of people want to play just to be a Jedi, lol. I get it... only reason I play the game is dog fighting in space. Without that I'm gone. I hope they start implementing a reasonable path to Jedi....

​@@jtuarus I had just started on the Restoration server. They did an upgrade today. Now the game crashes as soon as I start it. Not sure if that's the reason why. You having any issues with it? I wanted to try Legends as well. Yesterday the ZIP file for their launcher was a broken link, now it works and I downloaded it, but their game server is down and I guess has been down since early January? They're having issues. I'm a noob to these servers, but I used to play this game around 2005-2007. Great game, I miss the space. Just ordered some joysticks! 🕹

@John Smithe yeah legends is a nge server so you just pick jedi as a profession while restoration is a cu server with all the nge content

No it is to add flavor to the experience most likely just by playing the game you will unlock but that is the key playing the game not just small parts

You can leave it alone from then on and not touch it again hence auto trading.

Hahaha yeah I agree but at least here you can set up little trade routes and you can use this to auto supply your stations.

Yes they can be adjusted maybe have to pause it. But you can adjust it. This auto trade also works for supplying your stations to each other.

Technically yes it will if they are earning profit. Now I don’t know the technical stuff behind it like XP gained for this but they should slowly lvl up.
