The fact that Faith was gonna get the underage girl a “7 up” even though she most definitely drank at that age shows her empathy had grown. I mean this girl was innocent and sweet. She most definitely didn’t need to nor could she probably handle drinking.

I love ensouled Spike as a character. He's still very much the same guy he was as a soulless demon, snarkiness and all, but his newly restored conscience means he can carry a lot more serious/emotional scenes and express his feelings in a way he couldn't before.

Cordelia was funny, but I didn't realise how much I liked her character until she was killed off in Buffy season 3's "Lover's Walk". At least that's what I thought happened, as my friend used to tape the show for me and his player could only rewind whilst playing without chewing up tapes. So I saw the funeral scene and Cordelia's fall in reverse and was dumbstruck that I was about to watch her get killed off. Was so glad when I was wrong. But as much as I liked Cordy in Buffy, I think where she really shone was in Angel. I cannot see that show being even half as good as it was if she had not been in it. Doyle, Wesley, Gunn and even Fred just would not have worked through those first few seasons. Watching Cordelia grow as a person, whilst still maintaining her strength of character was what made the dynamic work.
