I would not want to put any alcohol based cleaner on the paint or anything acidic for that matter, but I just discovered something in a pinch. Lately for the past few days in Chicago it’s been ridiculously hot mid 90s and mid 80s or 90s humidity, with ridiculous rain and thunderstorms during the night, which led me to realize that my roof does leak a little bit, even though it wasn’t happening for the first five years of owning this car the last year or so it has been leaking sometimes when it’s raining hard or just a little bit it’s really confusing and sometimes it doesn’t leak at all even when it’s raining hard, I thought it could be the roof, the sunroof, maybe a jar or slightly off kilter. But regardless, that’s another story. So this morning I woke up and the hood of my car was literally attacked by bird poop. I’ve never seen more bird poop in my life on one spot of my hood. Dozens of huge white spots that were disgusting so I had nothing, no car wax, no car cleaner to remove it. So I use laundry detergent. Why? Because it’s petroleum-based, it seems that pretty much anything petroleum-based, mainly liquid soaps, and so many other things that we have in our household have petroleum, and it literally took off those swirls of damage in the paint, it took a little bit of work but a little bit of laundry soap and water and a microfiber towel and those little swirls of bird poop Damage started to come clean. So just FYI if you’re in a pinch, give it a try it just might save your paint from an attack of bird shit.

Any time spent watching this video is time wasted that you will never get back and you will still not know a good method or product to use to remove bird boop.

Just wondering if tire dressing cause the tire browning if not washed for an extended period of time. They seem to stay black longer if I just washed using tire cleaner without applying any products afterwards

Will this work on my 1948 Chrysler Windsor? The car has original paint.

I did my Jeep Cherokee with it and the finish and protection were great. I figuered, what works on cars, works on guitars. I did 7 electric guitars and it is awesome. Spilled beer, sweat and even most fingerprints and smudges didn't stick or wiped right off.

I just completed using Torque Detail on our 2008 Mini Cooper Convertible. First of all if possible I would apply Torque Detail in the garage. I first washed and dried the car completely . next I used a Clay Bar solution and a small piece of clay and clayed the entire car (not much bad stuff came off) I next washed and dried the car making sure all of the water was off of the car (i let the car dry over night). I bought new micro fiber towels; Used Torque sparingly as it said 2oz. for the entire car rubbing it in with one towel and buffing with the second towel. I did the entire car in 1/2-hour, and it came out perfect. I don't know how long it will last but it looks amazing. so much easier to apply than wax. Torque Detail worked great. Do the prep work it will make a big difference.

Dont trust someone that uses a microfiber with a tag one on their paint.

These are pro solutions and good ones at that...... however it was a long weekend, a massive amount of Bird crap landed on my car and I did not want to let it sit for days or a week feeling it may do further damage. I had a white car. (Not sure what the outcome would be for a dark paint car?). The chunky part of the poop I got off. Not issue there. What was left was light green stains literally that looking like ink or something. I tried soap and water and a sponge. No change. I tried Turtle wax and some buffing. Did not help at all. I tried Baking soda and water. Did not do anything. I tried Baking soda and vinegar. Nothing. I tried Goo B Gone. No change... no effect. NOTE I chose a small bird poo stain for all these down near the side front fender in the most inconspicuous spot to test all these. In case any of them left some damage or abrasive marks in the paint. I recommend the same. If the situation allows for that. Finally what worked? A mixture paste of Oxy Clean Powder mixed plain hot water. Not so hot that it burns your fingers. I mixed it to a wet version of a paste. I tried applying and rubbing the stains using make Up Remover pads (those white round ones).... I tried a cloth.... it seemed the best way to do it was using my plain old fingers. I would apply a dollop and simply firm but a gentle firm.... rub it with my thumb or fingertips around and over each poo splatter. The more you kept rubbing the fainter and fainter the stain got. It does take some elbow grease and time. It took me around 45 to 55 minutes to do around 35 - 40 splatters ranging from the size of a dime to the size of a pea. But they all came out. Every now and then I would mist the whole area with water. You do not want the paste dry or chunky.... nor too thin.... a little wetter than toothpaste consistency. After I rinsed and rubbed everything with a soft towel and you could see some of the areas where I rubbed with the oxyclean but I am sure a going over with a good car wax with hint of rubbing compound would even out the small few areas I could see a bit of a difference in shine. Would I recommend this for anyone with a prestige car or Hot rod or show car? maybe not? But your everyday homeowner with a run of the mill regular car, SUV or whatever should find this to do the job. Again it is not the work of a pro like this author here but it worked enough for my liking on our white Honda Accord. Hope this helps. Note get bird poop off a car as fast as possible. Every day or hour your leave it lets the high acid content in Birds poop permeate the clear coat and even into the paint if left long enough. Cheers

The real product and services to provide to your customers will also include clay service waxing polishing ti take out scratches, heavy grade like rite befire you actually have to say it needs more too it. Nobody wants to kick but. They want the instant oatmael instant check instantly all things. Doesnt work that way, well.when it comes to Quality OVER Quanity. No education there need to sale . Facts. Will see how well they do. It's a sale. Just not the end Value long term for the serious and picky.

Im a firm believer and user of soft99 car wax. Can you do a comparison id be amazed to see torque shine provide what soft99 fusso coat does to my car. Ill buy torque if you can change my mind. Thanks for your time and videos.

can you use as a drying aid?

My brand new Camaro didn't work out. WhT I see mostly in the bottle is water. I still have my " torque ceramic coating". 90% water. I used turtle wax (not quickwax). It shined for weeks. Nothing stuck to it. So....why does this company need to advertise SO MUCH. Turtle wax makes things shine too.

How do you clean the microfiber towel that u used to wipe off the poop? You cant just pop it into the washer cuz you put your clothes in there 😂
