Lead in Stanley cups is considered not dangerous because the lead is located in a small pellet at the base of the cup, completely covered by a layer of stainless steel 😅 this means it cannot come into contact with the drink or the user, and only poses a risk if the cup is significantly damaged because that would expose the lead seal underneath
@squareheadstudio3 күн бұрын
If lead really went into the water the cups would be recalled
@Doctor_Jay3 күн бұрын
Thanks for your comment. The fact that these cups are made with any lead at all is ridiculous and unnecessary. Also people drop their cups all time and lastly, I’ve seen many instances of independent testing where there are Trace amounts of lead in the water of a Stanley cup. Personally I wil choose to stay away from products made with lead, but u may do what u want.

A great training runners shoe . I’ve clocked up 250k on it and I’m impressed HOWEVER the rubber at the back heel wears out very quickly and I’ve needed to stick more rubber on with superglue . It’s very comfortable but only for running . I’ve found it uncomfortable for walking and use it only for my 10k training runs .
@Doctor_Jay4 күн бұрын
Interesting. That’s what I figured when making this is probably more of a runners dream than an every day training/walking shoe. It’s good to hear from a hardcore runner who truly put these to the test!

@Nayeem-g6q4 күн бұрын
@@Doctor_JayCan you explain how? Also is this just a commercial for the hydro flasks?
@Doctor_Jay4 күн бұрын
Haha no I’m not paid by hydroflask or anything. Look up “Stanley water bottles contain lead” anywhere on the internet. When they create the seal they use a lead product to essentially melt the metal together. If u ever drop your bottle it can come into the inside of The bottle ( which over time, everyone drops their bottle at least once ) Check out this article. www.foodandwine.com/do-stanley-cups-have-lead-8710633
@Just_68903 күн бұрын
@@Doctor_Jay But you didnt say that in the video. You said it like even if you dont drop it, the lead will get in the bottle. And theres a chance that the lead can get into the water. Also dont belive one artycle.

I did a review on it!! Want me to send you the link?
Thanks for your review. This shoe is a speed shoe generally used as a speed trainer and is much cheaper than its big brother the Metespeed Sky or Edge Paris which are both race shoes. It’s not built for comfort but for speed. You are correct in saying it’s not a comfortable everyday shoe nor a daily trainer. Maybe you should look at the ASICS Novablast 5. That might be more in line with what you are looking for.

I am a CNA I work 12 hours shifts I am looking to purchase a new pair of shoes I have been watching your videos trying to figure out what to buy. I average 7-8 miles of walking in a 12 hour shift. What would you recommend Hoka, New Balance, Puma, Nike?
@Doctor_Jay11 күн бұрын
Thanks for your comment! My all time favorite shoe is still the hoka Clifton. I think it’s always good to start there. As a foot doctor I recommend having at least 2 pairs of completely different shoes so ur feet are not constantly in one position. But if you’re looking for a place to start try the hoka Clifton 9. If you like them a lot I’d recommend the new balance 1080 next. If you purchase through my video link for the Clifton or any of the shoes, it helps out my channel and it leads you to the official hoka site anyway. But no pressure 😃, most importantly, I want my viewers to be informed, and comfortable. no matter where you buy from. Lmk if any other questions!

Asics Novablast are meant for running. They are going to be stiff because they were designed to be a daily trainer that marathon runners could use that doesn't have a plate. If you want an adics running shoe that it also designed for walking, buy the nimbus for neutral stepping or cumulus for overpronation.

The white looks dingy and they have no good colors. I feel the previous versions had better colors, looked sleeker and were still comfortable.
