Cutting a receipt which is plasticated paper is the worst cut test ever. EVERYTHING cuts that - try tissue paper and paracord. SOG Powerpint is same size with pliers that can do what the full-size multis can do.

I got mine today and as you said in another comment the action is not that good out of the box. It doesn't flip open like yours. I'll try to adjust a little bit to see if it helps.

It’s definitely purple in person but a nice dark purple not a bright girly purple. I’ve had a delica 4 for a long time and it’s the one that got me into knives. I decided to get this in the endela and love the endela even more.

I'm going to let you in on a trick to Tractor Supply. I've worked there for years and I know this works. Anytime you see something on clearance or in the store special aisle, ask for the manager. Then when the manager comes out ask him if that is the lowest he's willing to go on the price of that item. They will always work with you and lower it as long as they can get the sale. It has to be a manager though.

I really like the idea of this camera. I work in tech and I'm constantly staring at a computer monitor or at my phone (like most of us do these days). I take a few hiking trips a year and I really liked the idea of a digital camera without a screen and being able to just stick my phone in my backpack not not take it out until I need it. I've had this camera for a few days now and it works pretty well for the price. That said I understand the limitations of it, because of the price. I tried to find something similar with a better sensor and lens but this seems to be the only product on market. I hope in the future, they'll consider making a version that costs a little more with better components. Outdoors with good lighting, this thing works great. Indoors though photos can come out blurry if you aren't very careful. I suppose I should try using the flash a bit more indoors.

I wouldn't give Tractor supply a penny.. I'll buy a knife elsewhere. I'll pay 10X more somewhere else. For the same knife even.

I have both and don't know which to keep. I like the older version because of how the photos look.. little grainy, old. The 103 is definitely clearer than I would like but I love how fast it is. Help lol

as far as a tripod mount for mounting accessories, maybe 3m tape or glue a cold shoe mount on the top. all i can imagine is a decent small/controllable LED light like what small rig or apeture makes to makeup for the built in weak flash power. great video as im glad ive been on the fence for these and of course they have an update. cheers!

I just got the Rosewood version of this knife. So far I love it. Quality built and beautiful.

I also saw that the new model is advertised as having a faster shutter than yje original. I have the older model and feel i need to stay still a bit longer after pressing the shutter.

I see no issues with the sharpened blade of the knife not running all the way down to the base. I like the blue finish on your knife; it's just not for me. I love the titanium look on the original and if I were going to “blue” any part of it, I guess I'd do it with the screws. As for the blade itself, I'd polish it to a near mirror polish. I'm getting really sick of the stoned washed finish on the Cold Steel knives and I'm really getting tired of the tri-ad® locks. They're great on many knives - I just want Cold Steel and other knife companies to offer a series of knives with lock-back blades that are lighter and a bit smaller, like the older Voyager® knives. The current knives are fine, but the last generation of Voyagers _before_ the tri-ad locks and stoned washed blades would be perfect. I love beautifully knives, and stone washed is not beautiful. In my view.... ..

The standard filter has a greenish hue while the vintage filter looks like it has a standard color. I hope they adjust it correctly because im sure the files arent working as intended.

Reasonable observation there regarding the 4th position of that slide. A practical knifeman may understand the danger to fully extend the slide while actually using. I suppose legal may look into and add 'read instruction manual before use'.

The Gerber Dime has a very similar short-bladed tool on it that's FANTASTIC for opening packages. Like you said, keeps your contents safe, and bonus: keeps your knives clean and sharp.
