i'd suggest having a stronger focus on accents to highlight the swing. the original recordings give a lot of useful information about this. going slow to get the dynamics right, and then picking things up, is something that seems to helps me improve inflections.

Great video man, you have an engaging way of teaching! Thank you. When I first started learning jazz this was one of the first standards I tackled, which was too ambitious for me at the time. Looking forward to returning to it now as an intermediate.

It is an improvisation based on the ‘head’ which is written. This is what commonly happens in Jazz but can be a bit confusing.
