Overall from a player perspective love the draft. Membou is definitely a 1st round talent and highly doubt he’ll be there at 25. The rest like all the players for our team. I’d swap we’re bech and Thomas were picked better value. Agree with getting more talent at TR

Pitre plays nickel. I wouldn’t have preferred deep safety at that spot or DT. Rest works. I’ll give it a 7 out of 10 mainly because I’m a Zabel guy and want C upgrade more than RG.

I feel like you could get C in FA and i really like Pitre a lot but one thing I’ve learned is that you can never have enough good DBs. But DT wouldn’t be a bad pick there. Appreciate the feedback!

@@DynastySportsChannel if you are building for long term CB makes sense because you may not be able to sign him after this year. But if you are making a run, which we should be doing. IOL, WR that’s good in redzone, DT and deep safety are the priorities imo. I like Zabel, Savion Williams, Alfred Collins and then Malachi Moore. Think those players at those spots hit our needs the best. But who knows if they make it. Anyway just my thoughts good mock.

Jonah is a good first round pick, i like grey zabel a little bit more because of the versatility and because his performance was levels above Jonah, however Jonah is a huge dude so i think it’s a good pick but watch out for zabel man. He’s my favorite has versatility all over the line and was dominant at the senior bowl

Beck is also a good wr but i don’t think he’ll go early more of like a if we got a second receiver than I’d grab him but I’d pick royals or golden over him even the Johnson or Savion

"He was going up there and getting those balls"😂 Hey its not a bad draft. All important pieces. Id be happy if we make it out of the 2nd round with quality OL and WR that you grabbed. Id love to get a TE who can block better. Id feel sad if we make it out this draft without grabbing from the Deep DT and RB pieces, but only got so many picks. Gotta see what we can grab in FA.

Tank Dell isn’t coming back for this season. He is most likely going to be back for the 2026 season.

Fellow Texans fan & sports page here glad you went for an OL first round but I don’t think we should go for him specifically…if the actual 1st round talent is gone at OL I say go for DL somebody like Kenneth Grant because even in your 2nd round there are OL basically the same skill level as Jonah with Ersery or Zabel.. we don’t need a WR tbh more of the trenches is needed plus talent in the later round for WR

@ we low key don’t need one as crucial as everyone in the media is trying to push that agenda we have Nico is a top receiver & two WRs who honestly still haven’t really got a full chance (especially Xavier) either way can sign a solid free agent or get one in later rounds (I suggested earlier) we really need our trenches to improve more so on the OL 💯 I’d rather have an avg WR with an Elite OL joining than vice versa

@SportsMiddleman I agree we need to focus on the Oline. Hutch can still end up being good, but Healthy we have Nico, Hutch, and Metch. For cost purposes, it would be smart to grab a rookie WR no later than the 3rd. There's good depth in other positions. Unless there is a Gem on Day 3, I'm not gonna lie, I haven't watched much tape on the late round WRs

@ i agree with the depth because if Nico falls it will be rough which in another story I want Shultz replaced but to save time I haven’t fully seen tape on all the WRs supposedly going in let’s say the 4th or lower but WRs are bound to fall regardless happens in every draft & I would take best talent if they slip in the 4th I feel we will do well with that because say our WR room stays healthy we would’ve drafted a 1st-3rd round talent somebody gotta sit plus there are free agent WRs that can be an asset as well
