The big grip that comes with the v3 is terrible, and so is the fact that these side plates cost 50$. Been shooting bare riser since I got my bow, but occasionally my finger gets a little high up and catches fletching. So unfortunately had to get these since they have that knuckle guard thing

The block ain't bad...I've a few rineharts NOT easy to pull out. I shoot right through the foams at @ 280fps with a 4mm diameter arrow, like it wasn't even there. Now using a SEVR dense foam, easier to remove than a rinehart, self healing, but heavy! I might pick up a morrell high roller to try next.. thanks!

I think if you stick your threading needle up into the arm still like material it looks like you have Chinese as your Bridge just pull it back out cut the freight ends and then put it back in with a taper it looks like it was just square cut and force fed back through that's a DIY I've seen many times with actual real dyneema I'm sure the Chinese would work

Why are you shooting field tips in the block ? I thought it was designed for broad heads only?
@middle-americanoutdoors47122 жыл бұрын
I don't know of any practice target that is designed for broad heads only. If it can take a broadhead it can take a field point. There are targets that are designed for field points only as broadheads would destroy their material - but no targets for broad heads only.

Hit a deer at 60 on my Harley no helmet and tee shirt. Rolled over 30 times the cop who was behind me said. Got my hands locked behind my head before first roll was complete. You know the only thing I don't like about those targets if you shoot a crossbow and if the bolt goes into far even on the High Roller Target it will burn the paint or the writing right off the Bolt maybe if the bolt didn't go in so far that wouldn't happen but most of your crossbow targets will not hold up I shoot a bag Target and it works about the best or like a spider Target works well but if you hit the same spot two or three times with a spider Target you're going right through it as well I just wish somebody could come out with the Target that would actually hold up and be able to stop a crossbow Bolt

I would highly consider the Yellow Jacket Kinetic 1.0. We built it for the reason you are mentioning. There is NO FPS LIMIT and it has remarkably easy arrow removal. On top of that, you can recover your target for even longer life. We shoot a Ten Point Nitro 505 into the target for testing and it still has little force for arrow removal. Hope this helps. 🤙

The Vertix has floating yokes the control cables only does timing and poundage and sting twists is to get the ata in spec for drawlengh I'm confused when I changed my strings I'm 30in on ata on one side and 30 1/8 on the other side due to pressure induced on the cables from the roller guard that naturally causes limb twist or lean.
@middle-americanoutdoors47123 жыл бұрын
Hello Raymond - not exactly sure I'm following your picture there. BUT I would ask if you are looking at cam lean in static position or at full draw? My observation on the new mathews is there is a bit of lean (and yolk tilting to that side as well) at resting position but seems to look a lot better at full draw. I put my bow on the drawboard and look at cam lean from full draw. I would assume you'd want to set your cable twist so ata is symmetrical on both sides even if it looks like some lean at rest. Put it at full draw and judge from that position if there is true cam lean or not. -Matt (Nebraska Crew)
@raymondjones18663 жыл бұрын
@@middle-americanoutdoors4712 with the floating yokes reduces pressures induced on the cams my Vertix when I use a arrow on the cam on the shelf side the arrow is dead behind the string at the Dloop at the static position and on my LCA drawboard at full draw its perfectly parallel with the string I been lucky not having to play with Tophats and shoots perfect bullets set dead center of the riser at 3/4 with good clearance with Blazers 13/16 is only a starting point.
