@@compromisedssh not the loops on the back. The colored straps on the sides. I own one of these now and use it every day and still don’t get what they’re for, haha must be just a style thing

@@ribby109 They can be used for attaching items to the exterior of the bag. It's kinda like a MOLLE/PALS webbing. You can hang your sunglasses from them, a pen, or attach another small patch that supports molle webbing like a Leatherman pouch.

I love this convenient little pouch. Great when traveling, getting to sporting events when bags are restricted over a certain size. holds my wallet, keys, and even phone!

High coast has 2 external side pockets, detachable shoulder strap, its backpack straps are padded, and made of nylon. Totepack no 1, 1 side of the shoulder strap is converted from the backpack strap (the other shoulder strap is stationary), and made of canvas material.
