Man that seems like so much more fun being in the end zone. I wish they would make the temporary bleachers permanent and move the band back over there. Maybe they'd be heard by the rest of the stadium then

This song is triggering my freshman year we had to sing this with elementary and middle schoolers and we all hated it so much 💀 like what do these lyrics mean

It’s about inclusion in Church. Mark Miller wrote it who is a gay composer and music director. It’s telling Christian’s to include and love everyone no matter their identity. The “circle” is our church and he’s telling us to expand!

This is more like an old Pakpaknese poem or rhyme. I can't translate it exactly in english coz some words doesn't have any translation or meaning in Bahasa Indonesia. Cikala le pongpong Nggo mērbuah si nangkabari le ue (...) Simanguda bagendari en dak mēngkabari (nowadays teenagers just wandering around for nothing (aimless)) Mela mo cituk kene turang (shame on you girls) Melamo cituk (shame on you) Ulang ulakēn kene male (don't do it) Ulah-ulah ndene idi bagi (your bad habits) Ulang mo (don't) Dak bagi (like that) Kademo Lēmlēm pagemu (...) Pucuk bincoli man kabir-kabirēn (...) Kademo kēllēng atemu (what is your desire) Anak maholi man pabing abingēn (huging a handsome kid) Pong kirpong le pong kirpong (...) Pong kir pong kir pong (...) The "ē" letters (with upper line) read as silent. Ex: ovēr, open. And "e" (without line) read as magic e with short A. Ex: scare, bare..etc One thing in Indonesian spell (especially Pakpak), the words read as written. Sorry for my spelling, i'm bad in english.

That was really bad...i mean the Tennessee waltz solo is difficult, but that was like 9th grade recital baaad... im a former asu marching mountaineer, i watch these videos to reminisce. And that performance was bad, omg
@danwyke73356 жыл бұрын
I agree. I'm a 99-03 alum of the Marching Mountaineers, trumpet player. The Waltz was the biggest honor in the marching band, and you did NOT hose it like that.
@danwyke73356 жыл бұрын
@Noah Draper Give it some time and listening experience. The best way to know what you are listening for is to listen to as many groups as you can. As a high school student, you're used to hearing high school level musicianship - so most college groups are going to sound great to you. I have been playing post-collegiate for 15 years, and even recordings of ASU from when I was in marching band sound terrible now. Sounded great back then, though!
@danwyke73356 жыл бұрын
@Noah Draper Totally cool. Explore your options, and please please please do not base your decision solely on a marching band. Hardly a representation of what a music school has to offer. Not sure what you're considering majoring in.
