Yay! 😄 I did it! I was able to replace my charging port AND everything works. The most difficult part was getting the glass back off of it (it took me 4 hours!). I hope I never have to deal with that again but the repair was easy. Anyway, thank you so very much for sharing this tutorial! 👍😀

You need to release the glue mounting the motherboard from the back in order to get the battery connector out @12:50. You can see him break off the connector on the old battery. Leave it under the motherboard.
