I just put everything into a big pot, brjng to the boil, turn down heat and season as it goes , after i get the taste i want , i leave it for about 4 to 5 hrs simmering, then when cooked , turn off gas , and just leave it for the whole day , next day about an hour before eating , i turn on the gas and heat it up , then serve with rice and it taste amazing , my family and friends love my currys

What is the head note spice? Nigella or black onion seed. Then teaspoon of turmeric and 1/2 teaspoon of chili.

Main spices are: Tumeric, Ground Corriander, Ground Cumin, Kashmiri chilli powder. The Garam Masala powder always goes in at the end along with ground Fenugreek leaves. What she is making is a quick cheats curry which - is just okay.

Worst method of chicken karahi. Never put garam masala first with onions, always in last stage of cooking. The spices will burn.

Great video, excellent explanation timing. I may actually be able to make this one. Im in the mountains of honduras so there's hardly any variety of spices for oriental food or indian food. Are your recipies considered southern indian? I ask because when i lived in the USA, i tried both northern and southern. While i like both, my preference is southern style. My all time favorite is chicken tika marsala
