@@plmn444 This is a couple of years old. Some of the lights were re-used. So, the cost is a bit hard to tell. They can cost around AUD2000-5000 depending on whether we get a new batch of lights or not. Also, the structure behind the thorana is made with steel which gets reused many times. When first made it is very costly, but the temple recovers the money over time.

Yes. It was from a real LEGO set (7592). Builder of that module was Rohan Beckett.

i love these GBC videos but i always wonder why some ppl bring a modular that has a relatively high failure rate, tbh if i was to bring one id want at least 99,99% succes rate. dont they test these at home?
@rasikaa14 жыл бұрын
It is a bit tricky under exhibition conditions. You may test it for hours at home on the same table/position. Once you bring it in, the rate at which the previous modules feed the balls, the alignment of the tables, the temperature in the hall, they all play a part in the failures. The hall we do this exhibition is a heritage listed building that does not have any air conditioning. During the hot summer months it gets pretty hot in there and the big crowds make it worse. We usually give a good testing to any builds that new builders bring in and help them fix issues before the show starts, but there is always something that can break and it is unfortunate when that happens while you are filming.

5:44 reminds me of a vex set i had. It grabbed balls and dropped them ate the top. AND it was in the same colors just with a lot of black.

Where can I buy these little balls? I searched the whole internet, but I didn't find these balls (or similar) in any shop :-( Does anybody have an idea?

Yes, I like to show people that they don't need to stick to a colour scheme to build GBC modules. Makes them realize that they can just use what they already have to give a try.

+JEPPO Owen wants to retire that module as it is too harsh on the shocks. He broke one of them on the second day and we had to source a new pair by scavenging another display. But still it was the main attraction in the loop.
