I just loved , loved , loved your opening to this video!!!!! As a boomer it is much appreciated during the holidays. I've been watching your channel for a while now and you guys are GREAT !! If you can , maybe in the future you could review Barney's Beanery on Santa Monica in Weho. I left Weho in 2007 and wish I never left LA , it would be great to see it again. Thanks guys .... merry Christmas and happy new years .

Never have I ever had a good pastie. I live in the UP Michigan where they were invented. Always dry with no seasoning and have to rely on the gravy to save them. Let’s be honest anything dipped in good gravy is edible.

The pastrami is not that good. Maybe that’s why they have to put a bunch of topping on it to hide the tasteless meat. Good pastrami doesn’t need much of anything with it.

Love defranco's🎉 have you guys tried Matt and Tony's? I don't know if it's still the original people but we've been following them from location to location since they came here from the East Coast. My family absolutely loves them we make a special trip on out to North Hollywood when they have the little spot that was about that size right next to the wash. They would get the full cuts of meat from the East Coast full length many feet long🎉 it says on Yelp there in Mission Hills now.

@MyTownEats all the old establishment restaurants are almost gone. Have you guys tried Adrian's Trattoria White Oak and Vanowen. I believe they've been doing it for a lifetime. I'm wondering if Brooklyn Pizza on Vanowen and I think Corbin is the same they lived right behind the place. Brent is still going true to form I think they're the original owners if they're in the same location it's just like walking in there in the 60s. the food tastes the same🎉

Langer's, Art's, Factor's - All better than Canter's and none of them have insane homeless people blocking urine soaked sidewalks leading to their their entrances.
@MyTownEatsАй бұрын
Hi, yes it’s unfortunate, but these places have been around before the extreme homeless problems that LA is facing. Langer’s even threatened to close because of the state of MacArthur park that’s across the street from their front door. Also, we are not saying to pick Canters over those other deli’s. We have them on our list and will highlight them as well. Thanks for watching! ~ Lindsay

The best garlic cheese bread in Burbank is at THE RAMP. Smokehouse's is an 8 - the RAMP is a TEN! The 'Bomb' at the Smokehouse is the wedge salad. Ice cold, fresh, crisp and amazing dressing, bacon bits, etc...Steaks and soups all quality I agree with your review on those items.

In his "Tales of the Saugus Café," historian Jerry Reynolds (1937-1996) tells us President Benjamin Harrison stopped and dined at the SPRR Saugus Depot while waiting for a delegation from Santa Barbara to meet him there in April 1891. (The diner became the Saugus Café.) Typewritten notes signed by Reynolds in the SCV Historical Society collection show the writer based his information on an article published in the Los Angeles Times. On further examination, although the Santa Barbara delegation initially intended to meet him at Saugus (Times, April 17, 1891), when the day came (April 24), the plans changed. After spending the night in Pasadena, Harrison was treated to a parade in that city the following morning, then traveled by train to San Fernando and briefly addressed well-wishers while the locomotives were swapped out. He then continued through Newhall and Saugus without stopping (at least not long enough to disembark) and on to Santa Paula where he stopped and made a somewhat lengthier speech. From there he continued to San Buenaventura (Ventura) where the Santa Barbara delegation was waiting for him.
