It has been a while since I played Squad. I mostly play armor and I have to say it kinda sucks in this game. Makes no sense when u are fighting other tanks. Damage models are really bad. They really need to fix it. A BMD4 taking a modern Leopard 2A6 APFSDS round directly on the side and surviving, turning around and one shotting you with an ATGM is the biggest bullshit I have ever seen and this kind of stuff happens daily. ZTZ damage model makes no sense, it's lower plate is the weakest point but u wont kill it if u shoot there, you have to shoot the commander's optics. (I shot ZTZ on the side 3 times and it survived, it one shot my Leo2a6. Retarded game honestly. When Turkish M60 got into the game it was so broken 1 Abrams and Bradley couldn't take it out. it tanked 4 ATGMs.) Game is a fucking mess when it comes to Armor and tanks but it still can be fun. You are better off staying far away and supporting ur team. CQB can be a coin toss.

I completely agree and understand what you’re saying, I see the m60 as a long range tank. I choose to use its ranging and sight to my advantage in this video.

The atgm update was a step in the right direction and I’m hoping an armor rework comes around soon (especially for the ztz).

@@yosha667 ahh they are too slow and wanted to partner with modders who created very accurate Nations like France and Germany. These modders modeled tanks, uniform and weapons. The devs took so long to even fix the server list issue. I dont think they will rework the armor to make it realistic anytime soon. A game where I play perfectly, flank the enemy tank and fire 2 shots in it's ammo rack and nothing happens is a bad game. T-72s should be one shot from the side. lol Either way, Squad can be fun. I just didn't have anyone to play with. But the game has bigger potential.

I have seen so much debate with regards to using your ATGM / Refleks as opposed to just laying into them with AP. Could you speak as to why you favor the ATGM here on your first encounter?
