Missed opportunity from Mcfarlane for a BAF in this wave… great custom btw, genuinely as good as any Mcfarlane figure design 👍🏻
@VoidCityReviews8 күн бұрын
They haven't done a Begins wave yet, so who knows, you never know, with Todd. If acting, I imagine it will just be a platinum version of regular Begins Batman, whenever that arrives.

@@VoidCityReviews I completely forgot they haven’t done a Begins wave… again, another asked for wave (including the Bale Begins suit) that collectors have been requesting.
@VoidCityReviews8 күн бұрын
@MrRHeath86 the Begins suit for sure is coming. Not sure about a full wave yet, but it's definitely possible. The Dark Knight wave gave us the Batman Begins version of scarecrow, so maybe one of the other characters in a wave for begins could be the Dark Knight version of scarecrow wearing a suit. Could also do Ra's al ghul, alfred, or hopefully Gordon.

We are still working out a better way to actually do that type of filming. It's not very easy to get a camera set up in a way that can actually record what you are doing well also being able to get close enough and study enough to yourself with your own eyeballs see what you are doing. Also when working with exacto blades and stuff like that, I want to be able to do so safely, and not do so well worrying about keeping something in a frame for a particular shot. But we are definitely working on trying to figure that out. Usually while I'm working anyways, I'm watching a movie or some kind of a TV show, and sometimes I'm just sitting in the living room or on the couch, so I'm not sure if I would just have to set up a camera and do some sort of time lapse and remove all of the audio? Yeah there's a lot of different factors that go into trying to record these different steps. We will do our best moving forward.

Using too many reused parts, then the legs being red all the way up because they didn’t want to do a proper boot on leg mold for her. Cheap. You did a good job. I’m waiting for the Reeve figure to come out. Hopefully they can get a license to do Helen Slater Supergirl someday.

Wash the figure with soap, disassemble it (if possible), sand the joints to avoid paint rubbing off, prime it, paint it, seal it. Washing and priming will help paint adhere to the figure.

I'm sorry, you changed the position of the hair too, did you do that with heat?
@VoidCityReviews27 күн бұрын
I actually replaced the hair with hair from a different figure. Yes, using very hot water, I peeled the Mohawk off of that Wonder Woman head, and did the same with peeling the hair off of the Gal Gadot Wonder Woman head. I trimmed the inside of the hair so that it would fit on the new head, and then just glued it on.

I liked the movie as entertainment. Did they say any reasons why Rick Moranis isn’t in the new ghost busters movies?
@VoidCityReviewsАй бұрын
Oh it was entertaining for sure, they all are. It just definitely has some issues as well, which many entertaining movies have. It's all good. I think from what I understand, he didn't come back for the same reason Sigorney Weaver didn't. No real reason for them to be there, story wise. Plus, he's been retired for about the last 15-20 years raising his kids, and only recently came back to acting part time. I think he wants to do new things, not nostalgia cameos.
@MTB214Ай бұрын
@@VoidCityReviews I meant they don’t explain in the new movies what happened to the character?
@VoidCityReviewsАй бұрын
@@MTB214 .... They didn't really need to? He was a side character that they struggled to find a reason to include in Ghostbusters 2. After the first movie, his arc was over. He's off living his life somewhere... Being an accountant.... Or a lawyer.... Or whatever job he has this week.... There's really nothing to explain though. He was just a random guy, pretty much. Part of the problem with the movies is that new ones do things JUST because they happened in previous movies. I'm glad to see they didn't fill the ENTIRE movie with legacy characters for no reason.

What about elbows?
@VoidCityReviewsАй бұрын
Elbows on these figures are pretty straightforward. Usually I just dunk the figure in the hot water, until it is very soft and pliable, and then I have a very small allen wrench that has a screwdriver handle so it's comfortable in the hand, and basically because of the tip of that thing is essentially a circle, you can use it to punch the peg out and then repeat on whatever figure you're going to swap with, and then what I like to do is heat up the two pieces of the arm but not the peg when you were putting them back together. Keeping the peg solid makes it easier to push it through and helps lock the other pieces into the correct shape rather than warp the peg around those pieces if they aren't in the right spot.

So, am I seeing signs that as soon as DWJ is less involved in the book, Transformers is quickly becoming "just another comic"? I'm shocked! Not really, because it would be my Pet peeve about comics of todayonce again. Everything is a mini series and no one commits to anything. Why should I? I DWJ's case I understand it completely, he wanted to do TF but doesn't need any franchise to be successful. Its still frustrating, because literally every single book I'm buying and actually give a crap about now is written and drawn by same person (read:manga). So tired of this mercenary style of creating comics.
