Had the exact same boat from 1980 through 1990 - operated it out of Barnegat Bay NJ and her name was Peggy Jane. Man, this boat is so identical in every exacting way. I rebuilt both engines which were 283 CID Chevrolet. Aluminum GM intake, Rochester 4 barrel carbs, solid lifter cams and Sea Water cooled.

Brings back many memories. My grandfather purchased a new one from Miller Brothers in Ft. Lauderdale for around $350,000 after all bells & whistles were installed. We installed a fresh water maker and converted a water tank to fuel to increase range. This configuration is as I remember it but we had a davit and a 13 foot Boston Whaler on the fly bridge and a Bimini top up there. I had my Captain’s license by the Coast Guard at age 20.

from 1977 to 1981 they only added ac, a fancy radio but where your lil fridge is is where my huge fridge is, that whole work bench on my boat is a fridge/ freezer and it looks like it always belong there.. id be interested in a video closer look at engine room and that ac system .. by the way my boat survived treasure island fl, milton and helene 2024
