I was four years old when I was graced with the most beautiful music my little ears had ever heard and a scene that brought me to tears as I sat three inches in front of my TV screen at 2 a.m. . I never wanted that feeling or moment to end, so I replayed the movie over and over again. I wanted my wedding to look like that. A wedding I knew that would never happen, so I kept replaying the movie so I could live in that moment over and over again. An ethereal feeling I can't even explain came over me, my child eyes going wide. Its still the same way even now that I'm 22 years older.

What everyone else thinks of when they hear this: Jareth and Sarah's dance. (Fair enough it was pretty cool) What I think of when I hear this: LOVE ❤️ 💫❤💖

You ask me when i was 6 what my favorite movie was I'd tell you it was Labyrinth... You ask me at 43 what my favorite movie of all time is, an i will tell you Labyrinth... (NOT to be confused w PANS LABYRINTH it is NOT the same thing!) Forever & always a lifetime favorite of (Jim Henson's) LABYRINTH!!! Grandma's Boy is my #1 for comedy movies but only ranks #2 on my all time favorites😂 My comfort movies indeed!!!

I usually watched films alone after reading the spoilers (don't ask). But this time I was watching this film in bed on TV, so I didn't know the plot. And when this scene with the peach and the ballroom came I was caught off guard so hard. I was watching in disbelief because I did not expect such greatness: the music, the frames, the atmosphere, and the dance. It was so magical. One of my best movie experiences ever.

How is this all the, "film version", as opposed to what's on the soundtrack?
@Tha_Greatest388211 ай бұрын
It’s a mix from both of the songs but it’s far less perfect without the soundtrack pieces for example In the ending it’s supposed to go eerie but those score pieces where sadly never released
@alexkx859911 ай бұрын
@@Tha_Greatest3882 Wait...how did you get this version? When you say soundtrack...I get that they are mixed...did you mix them or someone a fan or something? I'm not sure what you are saying. Sorry.

Labyrinth was my absolute favourite movie as a child. I wanted to be Sarah so badly and have the adventure she had and dance with David Bowie 🥰. Jim Henson & his puppets really were iconic, even now 35 plus years later. I can't help it but David Bowie as Jared the Goblin King so hot 😋.

I discovered As the World Falls Down in this Facebook bracket with a bunch of songs from Disney and other movies that have fandoms, including Labyrinth. This was going up against I See the Light, which I don't like much but a lot of people do. The first few seconds I immediately knew this was going to win in my mind and I listened to it like crazy over the next few days.
