The landscape looks great, driving and walking, not so much. haha It feels like they are struggling to move, like their legs are tied together. Plus, so much was put into making the trees, sunlight, dust, and the monster/ghost seem something a toddler would draw. The story is everywhere. I had to go back to the beginning of the video to make sure I understood it right and that he was a real estate agent looking for a house.

Love the channel! Your streams are a breath of fresh air from the balance you have struck of being immersed and engaged, but not screaming every five minutes. As someone with PTSD who likes watching horror streams, your playstyle and vibe is so soothing. Tu qui oblitus es: You who are forgotten Nunc liber est: Now are free So in total I'd imagine it's "Those that are forgotten are now free."
@transienttalesАй бұрын
Hey brother, this means a lot for me to read this. I'm glad you can enjoy the beauty of suspense and horror without being overwhelmed with screams. I totally get it and know how person centred the recovery process is. It brings me a lot of joy to perhaps play a part in that, however small that part may be. Thanks for being a part of the community. I appreciate you. P.S thanks for the translation

@@transienttales it's not really about the commentary it's about the game
@transienttales3 ай бұрын
I appreciate that bro. I think it's about striking a balance between the two - to not be afraid to let the game do the talking but also not to present yourself as a soulless mannequin if you're gonna record yourself. Editing is a fairly new thing i'm exploring so comments like these are very helpful!
Almost done! Well done! I'm also on the last boss - I did a melee run this time. I ended up using the Godskin peeler with Arcane. Been a fun run. Definitely easier the second time through! Will you be grabbing the dlc right away? I might, but I'm dealing with a backlog. Just working on the new season of Diablo 4. The latest DLC trailer for Elden was fire.
@transienttales5 ай бұрын
Thank you! So close now... I use the Godskin peeler with my other character with black flame tornado, that AOW is crazy good. I'll be playing the DLC as soon as it lands yeah, although videos of this character doing it might be quite some time into the future. I'll probably do some videos with my other characters and without a set challenge to adhere to. I'd like to get my head around the DLC and all that it has to offer without dying in one hit. Man, that story trailer was sick! I'm very much looking forward to diving into SOTE. I've wanted to play the new season of Diablo 4. At some point I'll free up some space! I've heard it's highly recommended. What's your thoughts on it? Thanks for watching again. Appreciate it.

Yeah I've been pondering if I should use them but alas I have not so far. Slightly masochistic of me I reckon 😆
@ftrctyvreycertcewtcwrgcwef60006 ай бұрын
Hey a heads up, if you wanna use spirit ashes you should probably level them. Go for a better spirit ash too, like mimic tear ash or banished knight oleg. Those 2 are generally tanky, though Oleg is more fitted for this run, since you're not wearing armor. Greatshield soldiers are also great summons. Make sure to level them high though, otherwise they wont do you any good
@transienttales6 ай бұрын
Hey man thanks for the advice! I have a few characters nearly maxed out and know the score about the summons and leveling them, i'm restricting myself stupidly on this run and it was a fun moment of being like 'I wonder how the jellyfish will do against Maliketh at lvl 1' and it got absolutely destroyed hence why I laughed 😆. Appreciate you taking the time out to share some tips to help me though, hopefully it will help someone who reads the comments one day!

If you like overcoming challenges around every corner and the patience it takes to learn the mechanics of combat, it will reward you a thousand times over with a rich story soaked in lore, a huge array of different builds to make, an abundance of characters and enemies to encounter and a beautiful world to get lost in. I highly recommend it!

My best random encounter was getting attacked by a griffin when i was riding a cart. But it happened while we were passing through a valley. So narrow road and high walls. In the middle of the fight, the griffin jumps up, and i see a random fighter pawn away from the fight. I was like "whats he doing all the way over there?" Next thing i knew, a minotaur charges around the corner. Through that pawn and into our group. Panicking, i started spamming "to me," getting my pawns out of the valley and starting to fight in the open space. The griffin ran away but ended up getting attacked by hobgoblins, too. We finished the fight, but everyone was halfway dead again. I slept at the inn right before that cart ride. 10/10 would go through that again

Not really open world, since its all very linear and restricted. You cant stray off from roads unless theres a cave off road.

Not really random. This happens a lot in this ruin. There are 2 Golems there you have to fight. Plus Knackers, plus Harpies, plus the griffin which always comes down at me when Im fighting the golems. Nothing random about it. Happens each time Im there.
