Wow. Amazing Jack had those old recordings of Jorma. Jorma really sanf different then. Much louder and all out than his somewhat more muted normal style.

I saw The Cookers at Keystone Korner in Baltimore on 3/31/24. Craig Handy was playing tenor instead of Billy Harper. I never found out why Billy wasn't playing with the group.

A wonderful man of " reasoned empathy and wonderment . " I was at Franconia College in New Hampshire in 1971 when Mr. Botstein was President and he brought an atmosphere of stability coupled with " reasoned empathy and wonderment " to the beautiful campus in the mountains.

Nice interview with Anton. He's such a modest guy for the amazing career he's had. It comes out in all of his interviews. I miss the Letterman show and seeing the band.

Dear Rita, I could hear the lump in your throat and the sadness in your voice. The interview you did with John last year is one of my favorites, not just because of John, but because of you.
