Wow. Amazing Jack had those old recordings of Jorma. Jorma really sanf different then. Much louder and all out than his somewhat more muted normal style.
@RitaRyanLocalMotion2 ай бұрын
Thanks for listening! It is amazing that Jack had the recording. And Jorma had only been playing that style of music for about 4 months. Looking forward to hearing the entire album!

I saw The Cookers at Keystone Korner in Baltimore on 3/31/24. Craig Handy was playing tenor instead of Billy Harper. I never found out why Billy wasn't playing with the group.

A wonderful man of " reasoned empathy and wonderment . " I was at Franconia College in New Hampshire in 1971 when Mr. Botstein was President and he brought an atmosphere of stability coupled with " reasoned empathy and wonderment " to the beautiful campus in the mountains.

Dear Rita, I could hear the lump in your throat and the sadness in your voice. The interview you did with John last year is one of my favorites, not just because of John, but because of you. You managed to throw out some fresh questions. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and this. John was my friend, and now there is a void in my life, and hole in my heart forever. Thank you for this.❤ Jamie Johnson, Denver, Colorado.
