Both allergists and patients; Be careful before starting Allergen-Specific Immunotherapy. I developed Relapsing Polychondritis (an immune-mediated inflammatory disease) with renal involvement in the form of mesangial nephropathy (which has evolved to fibrosis and glomerulosclerosis leading to renal failure), at the age of 13 during the application of allergen-specific immunotherapy . The mechanisms of SIT, (although not fully understood), mainly lead to the suppression of the Th2-type immune response through the induction of Treg, the immune shift from Th2 to Th1 represented by the production of interferon-γ (IFN- γ). Increased concentrations of IL-10, TNF and TGF-B, and mainly changes in Treg cells and the Th2/Th1 balance, are the mechanisms that can cause autoimmune problems in people receiving allergen-specific immunotherapy. Relapsing Polychondritis is a Th1-mediated condition; its initial phase is characterized by an imbalance of the Th1 and Th2 profile. (as well as the pathogenesis of several autoimmune diseases). Certainly, there are several reports on the induction of autoimmune diseases over several years such as that of Dr. Ghorschi et al, “Manifestation of rheumatoid arthritis during allergen-specific subcutaneous immunotherapy,” “Scleroderma related to specific immunotherapy.” Clinical Case Maciel BM, Morfin BM.” "Turkcapar N, M. Sjogren's syndrome induced by specific immunotherapy"., Pemphigoid-like reaction due to allergen-specific immunotherapy: an unusual adverse reaction Margarita Tomás-Pérez, "Autoimmune thyroiditis detected during allergen-specific immunotherapy: a case report TÜRKELİ" among others. In the medical literature there are some cases about the appearance of AD during SIT, however, most have not been published, and the published cases represent an overestimation of the true incidence of the development of autoimmune diseases in people receiving SIT This delicate topic is mentioned in the main guidelines for the use of specific immunotherapy, such as the EAACI, the DGAKI and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology AAAAI forums. My illness, the illnesses of others, recognize the ignorance and uncertainty of allergists that prevails in this area and call for a strong precautionary principle in relation to autoimmune diseases and allergen-specific immunotherapy. I was treated negligently by an Allergist who is a member of the National Council of Clinical Immunology and Allergy of Mexico, my case was not published in the literature. And that is why it is extremely important to evaluate people for risk of autoimmunity before starting SIT, my situation (along with that of other people) should not be repeated. My body and my health were destroyed by allergen-specific immunotherapy.

Thank you Dr. Vargas. You performed a lumbar fusion at levels L4-L5/ L-5 S1 and disc replacement of my l5-S1 disc. I had almost complete pain relief for over 10 years. I was only 29 at the time and I will be 41 this month. I am experiencing pain because my L-3 disc is bulging now. It is due to spinal stenosis and also like you said in the video it is just part of the aging process. The surgery was performed on 3/23/11 and you spent over 8 hours working on my spine that day. I cannot thank you enough. I don’t have the words. I know it was a difficult decision for you to even consider performing the surgery in the first place. Especially considering my young age. Once again you gave me 10 years of pain relief and I really appreciate it. Most people who have the problem I had are decades older.

I had an ablation done in late June of this year. My heart rate had been 130+ and medication did not help. This procedure literally saved my life, and my heart's life - I felt like a new person the day after the procedure, and have felt great since then. It's given me a new lease on life, at age 80! Thank you, Dr. Ramamurthi, in Honolulu! (Medicare paid for most of the procedure.)

I read through with interest. I once believed Alzheimer's disease has no cure. Well, it is true with English medicine, but not with herbal medicine. My Dad's experience opened my eyes to the reality of a cure through herbs. My Father was a vibrant man before his encounter with Alzheimer's. He was a scientist, hence his mental capability was never in doubt. In 2015, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. The symptoms manifested through repeating conversation and gradually forgetting things. It became progressive from finding the right words during a conversation, to significant confusion and forgetting details about himself. It was not a good experience, seeing your father whose brilliance had no match, totally became a shadow of himself. His doctors said the disease has no cure, just medications for treatment which had a lot of side effects were administered to him. Early 2018, while on the internet, I bumped into a story of Alzheimer's, and I read about a cure through herbs with interest. I researched more to be sure it was not a hoax. In my quest, I contacted doctor Rohan herbs mentioned in the testimony. I got his herbal medicine for my father. It's been 2 years and he is perfectly okay and back to his laboratory work even at old age. For your loved ones with Alzheimer's or Dementia, take them off English medicine and use Dr. Rohan herbal treatment, Dr. Rohan can be reached through [email protected]

Such a shame you live in the US and dont have money to help you. A pity you done live over here. If you did, you wouldnt worry about whether you can pay for the operation you need. You would have it asap if its needed. Have you thought of writing to Joe Biden. He is a decent man and am sure he would suggest something to help you. Look after yourself and God bless.

I saw you in 2010 in Knoxville Tn. I came because iI had a serious problem. You try to diagnose me with your exam. You argued my problem was Carpal Tunnel. My problem was diagnosed by another doctor who did tests. Another neurosurgeon who did tests. Carpal Tunnel was ruled out. The problem was a severely ruptured cervical disc in my neck ;; ruptured left ;right and center compressing my spinal cord. Surgery confirmed what the MRI revealed. Causing all kinds of symptoms including Bowel problems and numbness into my hands as well as my feet. My left leg was totally numb. Muscles spasms in both legs. you were the 4th Spine specialist to argue me. Guess you didn't believe me. you also wanted to do surgery on my bother. He came to you because of me. The doctors who made the referrals for us ; never even knew you exist. I recommend he get a second opinion. He listened and did. When all the tests were done by another spine surgeon ; he problem was found ; and it did not required surgery at all. Also through my own requests other tests were done. the Rhuematologist was concerned. He stated I needed more surgery. As my problems was Lumbar ; Cervical; both shoulders torn again after surgery and Osgood shatter syndrome returning after 40 years. Why would I want to recommend you. and your staff also seemed to play a part as your assistant also argued i only had 3 dics in my lumbar bad. I had already reviewed my MRI. I knew there was 4 Lumbar discs bad. I think I know my body just a little bit better than anyone else. And with the tests that have had ; they proved everything I stated. The tests I request you to order ; were ordered by my new primary care doctor. I want to personally thank your Nurse for arguing me ; it was my primary care doctor job to do so. I fired Dr Patna ; one week before i had the MRI you ordered. and for the record ; you refused to order the cervical spine MRI. It was also ordered by another specialist. It's truly sad anyone would ever be misdiagnosed by a Neurosurgeon. You were the 4th to do so. But if any of the others had done their JOB ; I would have never request you anyway. You never wanted to see me in your office again. And I promise ; Hell will freeze over ; before any of my family will come to you. Misdiagnosing 2 of us in a row ; has for sure cost you a lot of money. And in my opinion ; YOU were way over paid. Your are not a GOD. Just a man who will get old and retired and one day die ; just like your patients. and by the way Dr Steven Natelson gave me a 20% of the body as a whole. Disabled me then lied to SSA. I request another opinion and at that time ask for DR. David Hauge. Dr. Natelson controlling and dictating it ; kept me from seeing him. Are Neurosurgeons Dictators??? And i have to laugh when I think of how much your staff cost you. It's stated that only 5 % of all spine patients need surgery. So far everyone who has seen a spine surgeon ; in my family has required surgery. and my friends except 1. My older brother. The 1 you told the only thing that would help is surgery. and by they way. the spasms in my legs are an Symptom of ALS. The other Neurosurgeon ask the question. Why haven't you been tested for ALS. He also stated ; No one is so great as to use an Exam to diagnose a patient. If that was all that was needed?? Why would a doctor need X-Rays ,MRI's and EMG and Never tests? He was also concerned why any patient should have to see more than 2 Neurosurgeons? The first should diagnose the patient and perhaps get an second opinion if the first stated the patient needed surgery. But seeing me explained to him why he saw so many patients for 3rd, 4th , and 5th opinions. But he was at the time many years older than you. About 40 years doing brain and spine surgery. So Dr. Vargas ; but I simply do not trust your opinion. Perhaps you should do surgery and let someone else diagnose the problem. Your opinion was discredited but the test his nurse ordered. And she did the exam. Very wise lady. good luck and sure hope other patients don't have the problem I had with you. Perhaps if you listen to the patient; did the proper tests ; before expression your opinion. They won't. You didn't trust me ; and I for sure had reason not to trust you. I was partly raise by a spine doctor. Trained somewhat. The reason I could talk on your level. Had he not died before my problem started. Perhaps it would have been repaired. Guess i should have listened when he stated ; Never go to a Neurosurgeon . I learned the hard way. And i have forgotten more about pain than perhaps you will ever know. Perhaps if you had the problem you would too.

They were awesome with him and the one day I couldnt make it to see him I called every few hours and never once did they get annoyed with me. They were flat awesome!
