7 minute drill isn't that bad when you consider that Kendrick is difficult to effectively diss. It's not even about ability, there just isn't much you can say about him relatively speaking. Cole apologizing is a large part of why the diss is viewed as bad as it is.

Before "Like That" (Future and Metro featuring Kendrick), came "First Person Shooter" (Drake and Cole)....Which by the way Drake had asked Kendrick to be on, and Kendrick turned him down...Because every since "Control," Drake had been sneak dissing Kendrick in some of his raps...On "First Person Shooter" Drake did a sneak diss to Future and told Metro to "shut up and make some BEATS"...In response Future and Metro returned fire with "Like That" featuring Kendrick...Metro also throw "BBL Drizzy" out there as a beat for Drake, to make fun of him....
