I am trying to create a name draft for my granddaughter. I followed your instructions and downloaded Bronze 140 and it works beautifully. But I would like to create a name draft on 8 shafts with 10 treadles. When I change the parameters to this it reverts back to 4 shafts when I go to design the name draft. Does this program only allow you to create a 4 shaft name draft?

The namedrafting pdf she talked about in this video is not available under her search criteria. I tried searching google for namedrafting interweave pdf and came up with the same document she shows. FYI

What is the definition of the Float you spoke of. I have a 24" Ashford Ridged Heddle loom and stand. How would I apply patterns for this loom? I like watching your tutorials and feel inspired to learn more. I would like to make a very simple pretty table runner. Would like to use this program and then learn to apply it. Could you give me some pointer? Please...

@frontporchindiana When you begin to weave, you leave a piece of yarn about three times the width of your fabric hanging off the end. AFTER you've woven a few inches, you come back and pick up the yarn you left hanging and begin hemstitching with it. I hope this makes a little sense!

@Onehookproductions I cannot get rid of the music but it only plays for 35 seconds at the beginning. Once you're into the teaching section of the video, there is no music.

If you want to watch this full screen, make sure to change the quality to HD. The button to do so is located to the left of the full screen button. If you are a weaver, (and on facebook) please check out our 4-shaft weaving group.

You might consider a small Chinese knot closure. You can either use the yarn you used to make the cloth or even make a braided cord of the silky material you used to line it. Chances are that this project is long since finished, but I thought I put in my two cents, as it were, so you could have ideas for other projects of the same nature. Thanks for sharing and let us know what you ended up doing!

Yet another excellent video by my favorite weaver! Kudos Patty!! :D Patterns are fun to make. I suggest to new weavers if you don't have graph paper, but you have PC Stitch (or similar cross stitch software) you can use that. If you dont have that you can also use what is my favorite---plain old Microsoft Office Excel (by using the cell format to make the cells whatever color I want).
