SSD is faster, but HDD lasts longer (ironic since you're more likely to accidentally damage them)

My current laptop is HDD and I hated it. It is very slow and unable to upgrade. My parent bought it to my sister for college like 12 years ago. All of my games from Steam are unplayable, and it easily gets heat for playing too long. Now, I have decided to get a gaming desktop with SSD storage. I am so excited, and I can't wait for it!!!

hdd doesnt have anything with it not being able to play games or getting hot, thats the rest of the specs. for games, it just takes longer to load (usually, some newer games stutter because of it]

Idk why this came up lol but good representation. Also it doesn’t just speed up boots it speeds up the entire system runs more snappy in general. I’ve had 2 hard drives die on me but still using all 3 of my ssd’s, one from 2017 by the way!
