I'm just gonna say it - he has a point. He wasn't even agresive in this critique. He was just very salty over this mod getting called the best thing since the coming of Jesus, when he saw a lot of easy to fix issues in the mod and people silencing any critique this mod could ever recieve, because it's free.

did we watch the same video? he spends the entire video acting like the devs killed a puppy or something over tiny mistakes. sure, entropy zero 2 isn't half life 3, but it seems like he's just mad he wasn't able to produce it despite his alleged years of source modding experience.

@@sweetypuss he was salty, not necessarily angry. Maybe he was annoyed that this thing got mass attention when he strived and never managed to deliver anything better, maybe it had nothing to do with that. It is not possible for us to deduce it from the video, and frankly "You hate it because you don't have it/didn't make it" is a horrible form of criticism. I do not see any particular anger. Just metric tones of salt poured over every flaw of the mod. And he still makes a lot of good points.

The newer ones are pretty good too, but different styles. NB ones are more synth focused, the new ones by Daniel Stimac are VERY 80s, guitar riffs all over.

Мне и старый и новый саунды нравятся. Старый - более печальный и взрослый, меня иногда хватало такое ощущение, будто я реально залетаю в какое-то место людей валить, а новый - более лёгкий и фановый.

It's pretty telling that, of the 10 stations in this game, three (this one, the country station, and the Mexican/Tejano station) all seem to consist of production music, plus the obligatory classical station which is all public domain. In all fairness, I don't think this is the first time in the series there's been a station of production music - I think the easy listening stations in the first two games and (except for Pitbull and Don Omar) the reggaeton station in SR3 were this way too + SR2's funk station was entirely or almost entirely taken from a few compilations of obscure/rare 70s funk - but the tighter budget that this game was produced on *really* shows.

This is still very unexpected to me how reboot managed to disappoint me in terms of music, like - do we need DMX or Trippie Redd, which both of them are very expensive to license? I would be a-ok if we got only small musicians if it means quality of many radiostations are good in all of them. I still remember how when I've heard that this game got synthwave radio before GTA - I've imagined it would feature Perturbator (which at the time of reboot release - made a new album) or Com Truise or just fresh faces in genre, not this.
