This program is horrible. On Halloween I went on short term disability and was told I can no longer use (the standard) my short term disability insurance that I pay for as state worker benefits. I was forced to use this socialist program. At first, website would work. IT problems, it didn’t have my state agency listed, their phones just rang busy for 2 weeks solid. Once I physically could I went to the paid leave building in Salem. An IT guy fixed the problem. Then the system wouldn’t work at all, couldn’t upload documentation and their questionnaires didn’t work. This has become a full time job for me, while I am suppose to be resting elevating my foot, and healing. Not possible with this horrible program. I’ve gave them everything they needed/wanted and still no money and it’s been 96 days. Awhile back they even approved me. They were not ready to go live, short staffed, it’s been a mess. I can’t believe I’ve been forced to do this. I didn’t want to, it should be for ppl that don’t already have short term disability insurance. So they cash in on making ppl that don’t need it use it. I wonder how many get denied that actually NEED it. Something strange is happening here. Insurance companies get relief and don’t have to pay, but tax payers do? This should be illegal ty

You need to go on some of these job apps and see how many people are applying for a minimum wage job People are hurting to find a decent paying job Or maybe look around stay up with the news and learn about all the companies going out of business And laying their employees off

My caregiving job in Oregon posted an ad for my job. However, it was for a dollar more than what I was being paid. I then printed and hung up said ad and got written up and almost tricked into quitting was I in the wrong? My schedule was also changed without notice, which caused me to no call no show for 2 days which resulted in more write ups. I do have proof of them lying about my schedule and many other things.

That’s really great. I wish Oregon the best. That being said, I live on the other side of the continent - why the hell am I being recommended this?

There’s a word that’s well connected with the workplace and religion particularly Catholic Christianity ✝️. It’s known as Opus Dei. The word itself means work of God. And there’s a Catholic Christian organization that’s named Opus Dei founded by Saint Josemaria Escriva. Now I’m not a member of Opus Dei but I’m a Knight of Columbus and when it comes to going to work and using my religious values to make myself more motivated and focused on my job. Like yesterday morning, before going to work. I took out my Holy Rosary and prayed the sorrowful mysteries of the rosary and after praying the rosary, I felt more motivated, focused and confident in my job.

SO PISSED about this! I will never be able to draw from this program. Isn't this going to be challenged? The state of Oregon already TAXES the living crap out of us, they should have enough money to cover the costs of this program. I HATE OUR LAW MAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got fired for being on break and falling asleep for 5 minutes. And I got denied unemployment..my separation notice didn't even have the explanation for me being terminated

I have a hearing because the unemployment department had a question for me. They sent me a letter to which I responded. They called me which I responded to. Now I am denied because they are saying I never contacted them when they tried to get ahold of me. I have to go months with no money to pay bills or eat because someone isn't doing their job at the unemployment office. This system is a hot mess!
