Yes. Wood ash too. Instead of the nasty lime or the toxic bleach. The good think with bleach is that gases out leaving lower ph. Oysters seemingly don't mind if ph is high.

False! So ugly to say the least. Bleach is so toxic, gaseous, permeates skin, so bad. Need gloves and good gaseous toxins mask. Find no point on using ugly bleach (or, less ugly, but ugly, lime) to work growing beautiful mushrooms when there are nice natural good alternative. Find wood ash very nice!
