All that detail but used the wrong headstock shape. OGV has a rounded Norlin style headstock.
@GorMetalGuitarist2 ай бұрын
please read the description of this video. its not a mistake. the Gibson headstock is different to the Elektra one. we on purpose used a Gibson V not a Elektra to build that replica. there is only 1 real OGV!

Man, I'm very grateful to you for this video. I dreamed of seeing it live one day. That is, the interview itself has been in the public domain for a very long time, but I have never seen the performance of the song from this show. This is the first time. I mean, I knew they were playing there, but I never saw them. How cool.Thank you very much.This is a very rare record. And you know what else I dream of seeing is the full version of Frantic, from MTV Icons 2003.

I have good news with regard to MTV icon. subscribe the channel and spread the word - don’t miss it.
@user-Tulpa9Na6Metle5 ай бұрын
@@GorMetalGuitarist After these words, of course I signed up. I won't dissemble, it's hard for me to believe that you really have a full recording of Frantic with MTV Icons, because so many years have passed and no one has ever even hinted at the existence of the full version. I mean, we all saw the program, there in the very finale, metallica plays Frantic, but it stops before it even gets to the first chorus). Anyway, I'm intrigued). It's nothing personal, I just know that this record doesn't exist anywhere at all, except for MTV itself or Metallica itself. However, I also did not see the performance that you showed on TOTAL TV yesterday and I am sure that no one saw it on KZbin until yesterday.)))

Ross is such a great guy and excellent guitar player! He is so good to his fans! One of my all time favorite Ross guitar solos is from the original version of ‘Defender’ recorded during the sessions for ‘Into Glory Ride’!

What's really cool about this performance is that Ross plays the solos as faithfully as he did on the albums. Not alot of guitarists do that.

Michael makes great guitar rock and roll playing look so easy. He is the best of the best and getting better each and every day. I have been listening to Michael since 1974 during his early UFO days till present. Thank You Michael for your decades of creativity and guitar genius. You are the best my friend.

Shankle was awful live no soul and the less we mention his disgusting replacement the better Manowar lost their sound after Ross left all down the DeMaios greed and over inflated ego hes a complete asshole and I know that from personal experience it's not just an opinion!

I remember watching this. Very late at night and i had to go to school the next day. I just wanted imediatly to try it out but i would have been killed by my Mom. I was stunned by his playing. I must have been 13 maybe 14 years old so this was rather in the 90`s than 80`s

This had to be special for Ross. The original guitarist and co founder of Manowar. I stopped listening to Manowar after Kings of Metal. It wasn't the same after Ross was forced out of the band. The first 6 albums are their best material and the Guitar and Keyboard playing of Ross was just as important to the Sound of Manowar as Eric's vocals or Joey's Bass playing and either Scott or Donnie's drumming.
@flonkplonk164910 ай бұрын
Don't forget Rhino! He did a hell of a job on Triumph of Steel (which is one of their best albums even without Ross)! He was a powerhouse compared to Scott.
