makes me so nostalgic for the days when bands gave it 100% on stage, hope the other members of the band are still rocking out somewhere

I met Ian several times around 2004 ish it's amazing this is the same guy. Complete 180 on his personality. He was humble and quiet back then

It’s like Ian Watkins predicted his own demise he knew he was going to either die at 27 or end up in jail

Hes so good looking and talented it really is a waste. I agree about the drugs though, he probably was in a kind of altered reality after he started taking them and did not think that he needed to inhibit his desires any more . To be so open about his pedophilia shows that the drugs greatly impaired his judgement.

No excuses at all, drugs or no drugs. He's sick beyond help. But yeh he had talent for sure

Drugs do not turn you into a pedo, he was already one.

It’s mad to think at this point in his career he had already committed all of his crimes the worst only weeks prior to this show disgusting

Fucking phenomenal live performance. One of the best of the 2000s. Such a shame on what the lead singer did. I will continue to separate the art from the artist with this band. The music is too damn good to ever be forgotten about.

This dude is sick. At least our holy prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), married Aisha at the age of nine, and waited two years to consumate their marriage.

Don’t do drugs if you’re a pedophile for the love of god… it’s a major risk factor for acting on urges, that’s what happened to Watkins in my opinion. Still an evil, monstrous piece of garbage, but he probably had his morals for his mental issue around 1997-2007. The drugs completely got rid of that.

Was it the drugs that made him like that or would he have done those things anyway?

even Blue Monday sounds like shit when played by this disgrace of a band. Watkins as a person may be the worst, but as a musician he has been... the worst.

Such a great band, maybe the best ever on the emo genre. Such a beautiful and unique vocalist. Why tf would he do such a thing?!? What a disturbed and disgusting man. Completely waste of potential. If this controversy never happened they would have been one of the most iconic bands nowadays, and would probably continue touring to countries that werent visited before. This is the saddest incident in music history. The songs were too great to be corrupted by a sick pervert.
