It literally doesn’t even have the wedge. I surfed one and it SUCKED. Literally almost completely unsurfable.

Put the tow vehicle in 4wd as you back down the ramp as soon as you are moving straight. On most trucks this connects the transmission park to all 4 wheels instead of just the rear. On most trucks the parking brake is also only connected to the rear wheels. If you are only in 2wd and using the parking brake you are relying on only rear wheels maintaining traction, which can be a problem on slick ramps. If you put it in 4WD you'll get the traction from additional wheels connected to the transmission. You'll also save yourself from a hard 2wd to 4wd shift due to the load of pulling the boat out of the water while trying to make the 4wd shift.

Family just purchased an A225 -- it's our first wake boat. Took it out last weekend and just used the preset buttons for surf and wakeboarding. Wondering if there are additional settings to tweak for optimal wave / wake? What do you recommend?

I love the new screen and the fact that it is a reliable Garmin. I wish you guys would’ve kept the two traditional gauges and had the screen off to the side like you do. I love the gauges and screen working in conjunction.

Axis owner here. Been a great boat, but not sure I'd buy one ever again. They cut corners everywhere. Everywhere. And I know we're looking at a lower cost boat here, but other brands seem to keep the price close and have much higher quality in the details. Looking that direction.

Your not appealing to wake borders , the wake looks totally washed out , all kinds of cool features,and of course your “sponsored rider “ says good things , if not , he would loose his sponsorship. Show side by side wake comparisons fully loaded with a Malibu wake setter , the wake setter has and always will be the best wake on the lake . When I was sponsored by MB boats , i was told to tell the prospective buyers on demo rides , “that I liked the washed out froth , that it gave me extra pop “ . Boat manufacturers area a joke , only want to sell , sell , sell . Do yourself a favor , take test rides and look at the wake both sides ,

Just bought a 2020 A-24 and cannot think of anything I would change. Well designed and well thought out boat! I visited this boat at the boat show for over 10 years and was finally able to get my own for the entire family to enjoy! Traded an I/O and we are looking forward to all we can do with our new V-drive this summer! Great job Axis!
