WHO IS THE PASTOR

Luther's reformation kept the Mass, which continued to have a sense of dignity. Priests wore vestments and all believed (and acted) as if Christ was truly present in the Eucharist. One still sees this in Lutheran churches in Europe. In the US, churches became more and more Protestant. Vestments were discarded, pop music replaced the glorious Lutheran music of the past, and huge monitors replaced well worn and loved hymnals. Sorry, I know this will offend some, but there's a piecemeal tackiness to the service seen here. The sight of the female priest(ess) at the altar in this instance anyways almost radiates a Wiccan vibe. This isn't what Luther wanted when he sought to reform the Catholic Church, and it isn't the Lutheran heritage that was handed down for several centuries.

Why is it so empty?
