Thank you for another great informative video. I have to say, I do miss your daily series and unfortunately get my daily fix of FS content elsewhere but I always look forward to the time lapse videos on Sunday and Wednesday. Keep up the great work and best wishes to your family and everyone's health. ps. I really miss you're "exasperated grunting's" (or insert your favorite verb), when the helpers or other functions of the game don't work as expected. LOL That made my day just to hear you go on about it. 🤣

Worth noting at the moment, if your trees grow to the first stage and you then leave the game, the trees will have completely gone, only work around atm is like the video here, skipping time until they are fully grown and then you are able to leave the game and they stay

Doesn't always work even then. On returning to this save I have the lodgepole pines still there and three other trees, all the rest are gone!

Thanks Frithgar! Could you also tell us the total mass/volume of each tree once cut? I have planted 40 lodgepole and wanted to know would it have been better to grow oak if they are 1yr faster with a similar mass.

At the moment that's going to be hard to test, because the trees are bugged. When you leave the game and come back, most of them are gone. If you have the lodgepole pines grow to full grown in a single session, they'll still be there when you get back, but most of the others just vanish. I believe it's going to be fixed in the first patch. I would say that at least the lodgepole can be cut with a standard harvester, it's harder to deal with oaks or american elms. If you're just looking to drag whole tree to a mill to have them turn into boards, then yes, it might be better to grow the oaks Also consider that the unusually fast time for the oaks may also be a bug that I would expect to be corrected (if it is) in the first patch

Frith: couple of things.. If you don't want to pay for water, create a small rice paddy (bout the size of your tractor will do) you can flood it and fill a water tanker anytime you need water.. Second thing, watch taking lumber to the Temple, at a certain point it will take the wood but you wont get paid for it.. Lastly when you go over the bridge (big suspension one by the dock) kinda look for a golden orb looking thing, its worth $10,000

Just in case anyone else is trying to work this out: the area in the blue rectangle must be water. Doesn't matter how deep, just has to be water. So take the banks of the canal beyond that line and it should reach 100%.

Sorry, boss, I never stop by anymore. I’m not a fan of time lapse since I prefer hearing your farming stories. Anyway a couple weeks before FS25. I’ll be skipping it like I did FS19, at least I’ll be skipping it for the first ten to twelve months while they fix all the bugs.
