I’ve entered the 25km race next year, my first UTMB race. Thanks for showing the reality of it all, not just the pretty views! This really shows how hard it is. Is the final 10km more of a runnable section? Great video, I’m sure I’ll watch it a few times more before the race.

Great result! When I did my Ambleside to Legburthwaite recce a month or so back, I realised, at 7 hours in, I just didn’t have another 13 miles in my legs, so I dropped to the 2-Valleys. May come back next year when I have a few longer races in my legs 🙂 Thanks for the video, and congratulations 🙂

Loved the video but it’s now made me incredibly nervous for my first trail race the UTS25 😬 Love the views and it’s a bit more technical in places compared to what I’ve been training on
@KC_Cort8 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment, it means a lot 😊 Everyone feels nervous before a race, but you won’t be the only one who will be running it for the first time. It’s not always possible to recreate the same terrain in your training due to location, work and family life. It is handy if you can recce parts of the route, but if not there are plenty to videos on KZbin that can give you some indication of the route. You will be absolutely fine, there are some parts that are a little technical on the rhyd-du path, just take your time and enjoy the experience. If I can do it then everyone can 😊
