I'm sorry, but if you, as a music teacher don't notice that you write a melody in E minor instead of E major, then there is not much help for you to be honest. Stop teaching music. Especially solfege. Since when B-C is a so-la distance? Since when B-G is a so-mi distance? What are you doing?

i remember in music class we would play twinkle twinkle little star in the guitar. and while everyone else was given big guitars, i only got the smaller ones, ALL BC I'M A BIT SMALLER AND A BIT SHORTER THAN THE OTHER KIDS!!!! looking back on it, i'm still mad at them for not letting me be like the other kids.

Just curious: how do you integrate musical instruments into these lessons? They had the recorders all the time in front of them, but they didn't seem to be integrated into this lesson. I'm asking because my class is set as for a piano club, which means I have desks with keyboards in them, which I cannot move since they are wired into the ground. There is also no space left in my class, so my students are bound to sit at those desks all the time. With Kodally focusing on concepts mostly I find it unlikely to have them 'fulfill' the purpose of the set-up of the class.

Just thought I'd share what I write in my online observation for the category 'Servant Leadership': She had an obvious calling for children, it is very evident in her teaching and how she even just speaks to children. Her kindness radiates as she speaks, acts and sings. She truly cares about what her students are learning and how she presents herself.

Congratulations in your work! Do you ever use a book for arrangements of the songs for piano, or do you make them yourself?

Hi, thanks for the video! Im about to start playing the viola. One thing that I find strange is the lack of videos about learning the viola. And other is thst all the ones I gmfound are only about the most basic steps. It seems there is too many things untalked. I wonder where the info is, or if we need a teacher no matter what.
