Odd that by far most the concept art for this game features Jacob, as he was the only protagonist originally, and still he is the primary main protagonist today. But this video almost went out of its way to use the concept arts with evie and lydia and avoid Jacob...

This is book-accurate and so much better than the romance drama they shoved down our gullets. Fucking BBC and their infatuation with boring garbage.

If it wasn’t for Alejandro Jodorowskys Dune movie he was putting together, Alien wouldn’t have been the masterpiece it turned out to be. It was Jodorowsky that discovered Giger and had him working on conceptual art that was then taken on by Ridley Scott when the Dune movie fell apart pre production, a few of the people in line to work on Dune then moved over to Alien

@@samuraitadpole5459 yes, check out the Amasutum, better known as the Benne Gesserit, and the Spice is Ambrosia In ancient Greek myths, ambrosia (/æmˈbroʊziə, -ʒə/, Ancient Greek: ἀμβροσία 'immortality') is the food or drink of the Greek gods, and is often depicted as granting longevity or immortality to the one who consumes it. But yes, we are living in a Dune Saga, and this Universe is where It took place. The gods were something between the Engineers from Alien and the Spice controlling families, in real life, but spice comes from the human body, and it has healing quialities and longevity, even to see other dimensions, that's why blood is always revered in all the cultures of our planet. 🌍

No, very short-sighted opinion. H.R.Giger was that good, he's big success was only a question of time, he was wanted into really big projects already and anybody who saw his work knew that very well he is a giant.

What's wonderful is Lucasfilm using this today!! You can see Lothal and Zeb from Rebels in here. Coruscant from Mandalorian/Book of Boba Fett. The Fortress Inquistorius from Kenobi. I wonder what's next.

Great work Paul, but what is telling in the images is the total domination of man in terms of industrialisation, the squeezing in of humanity into small boxes, the pollution/mist, the artificial advertising, fake promises of improvement and the huge size of these structures compared to people, and then the lack of nature, trees, human connection to the world, the perceived loss of ethics, understanding, love and compassion, as everything is designed for purpose, to exploit the resources and the people. Reminds me of a huge massive prison that we have built for ourselves, where there is no escape and no hope left.

What a great channel you have! I was an illustrator in NYC from 1975 to 1990. Toys and toy packaging most of the time, specializing in Star Trek/TOS and superheros for Mego Toys. But after 1977, the industry went NUTS for everything sci fi. You feature the best of the best here and it's a pleasure to see such amazing and world class talent. Thank you for all the great episodes. SUBSCRIBED!

For me, the eyes fit tripods like a glove, since they give it more of a disturbing and strange atmosphere. Imagine seeing one of those things at night with its eyes illuminated and having that kind of pupil as if that thing had life and I was looking at you, that is what Wells wanted to express in the book, that tripods were scary and I think these illustrations really achieve it
