Thankyou very much for this, you have no idea how much this saved me, I was preparing for my interview today and I watched the lesson 1-3 in your video at 3 am at the morning. During the interview, all the questions they've asked me I was only able to answer because of this video, it taught me everything they are asking like, how to make a test cases, difference between severity and priority, what are the steps you should take in creating a test cases (fun thing that happened When I mentioned the very most important thing is the first step is to get the app better and get the requirements documentations for the application my interviewer smiled as if she was really agreeing with it!). I just want to thank you for this and Thank God for leading me to this videos that you made!!!

Thank god found this course🙏 i started a SQA internship three months ago , and here is my story, two years ago a personal event turned my life upside down, became a single mom at almost fifty years old, with no job no carrier; had to look for a quick certificate so became a medical aide after three month, it was a great rewarding night shift job but exhausting,for a single mom with school kid without a community support “i am originally from a north African country so no family around😅” had to stop to take care of my mental health especially that i never took time to grieve everything that happened. Used and abused my savings but didn’t care needed that rest so much. When finally i felt ready to start looking for a job or an internship that will allow me to work from home and be there for my baby, started working on my resume . And that same day I received a text message from an ex in-law and a friend and boss now Who started his company and knew a little bit about my struggle but didn’t know anything about me trying to find that kind of job it was a divine intervention i will call it 😊” name,why don’t you get trained as SQA? If i teach you, i think you will be able to do it, since are highly analytical person “ that was his message, he knew me more than i knew myself and believed in me and discarded my hesitations, and it worked i am apparently, doing a good job, but as i am not taking it for granted i want to improve my skills and have more knowledge about SQA job, and here i am watching videos trying to start from the beginning, but all the videos I watched were a little too hard or complicated , then i find your course, 😮 it is like me teaching myself 😅 it is so simple and detailed and so analytical in the same time , thank you so much for this course ! Sorry for the lond essay😂 but i wanted you to know how impactful some actions can be in people’s life and also give hope to whoever is going right now through same circumstances ❤🙏

Can you become a QA tester with just an Associate Degree?
@skillrill7 ай бұрын
Hi! I know a student who passed the interview, got a job offer and has been working in IT with incomplete Associate Degree. Some companies ask for a degree, some don't. Best way to find out is to go to dice.com/jobs, look for QA Analyst, QA Tester, QA Engineer positions and check if they require a degree. Your technical and communication skills play major role in interviews. Good luck in your IT career!

Hi! Thank you for your feedback, glad you found it useful! Generally it takes about 2 months to learn Software Manually Testing, including practice. These days, most of the companies are looking for testers who can do both Manual and Automation Testing. So I recommend you start learning Manual, then continue into Automation Course (SDET), master it, then try your luck in the market.

thank you for this lesson but im a bit confused on how or when to use (parenthesis)
@skillrill11 ай бұрын
Sure! Here is one example where parenthesis is used in WHERE clause with IN operator. SELECT * FROM employees WHERE department_id IN (101, 102, 103). In this query, the IN operator is used to filter rows in the "employees" table where the "department_id" matches any of the values in the list (101, 102, and 103). The list of values is enclosed within parentheses.

SQL is absolutely a programming language
@skillrill Жыл бұрын
Well, you are right to some extent. What we meant is that SQL (Structured Query Language) is not a programming language in the traditional sense. It is a domain-specific language designed for managing and manipulating relational databases. SQL is used to perform tasks like querying data, inserting, updating, and deleting records, creating and modifying database structures (such as tables, indexes, and views), and managing user access to the data. While SQL is not a general-purpose programming language like Python, Java, or C++, it is a powerful and essential tool for working with databases. SQL statements are declarative in nature, meaning you specify what you want to do with the data, and the database management system (DBMS) takes care of how to accomplish it. In contrast, programming languages are typically imperative, where you specify both what to do and how to do it step by step. Some database systems, such as Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft T-SQL, have extended SQL to include procedural programming constructs, making it possible to write more complex code within the database itself. These extensions allow for conditional statements, loops, and error handling, blurring the line between SQL and traditional programming languages in those specific cases. However, even with these extensions, SQL is primarily a query and data manipulation language for working with databases.
