i did this same thing but used kite shield and the longsword instead, with no buffs because john dark souls doesn't need them

This whole fight kept giving me Gojo's vibe Now i just need a mod to turn my tarnished into Gojo lol and then its a perfect build idea haha Nevertheless my fav fight from base game has to be Malenia bcoz of weapon u have, literally throwing hands with someone i hate fighting close range but it was so satisfying watching kick her face Fav from dlc fights were Putrescent Knight, Messmer, and promised Consort Radahn What about dryleaf? Is it a good option or similar to dane's or dane's just better overall

For this Build: This Elden Ring Build is a Faith Build centered around Dane's Footwork, one of the new Hand-to-Hand weapons introduced in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. To begin, the moveset of Dane’s Footwork is distinct from the Dryleaf Arts by having slightly more kicks incorporated in the moveset. This is mainly noticeable in the neutral light attack and neutral heavy attack. When “two-handing” Dane’s Footwork, each kick attack hits at least twice, making it very useful for successive hit builds. Dane’s Footwork is infusible and scales fairly well with any affinity. For this build, I chose to run the Flame Art and Sacred affinities (where it has a B scaling in Faith with a scaling value of 103) with an 80 Faith build for high elemental damage that could expose boss weaknesses in both the base game and DLC and to allow for my build to have strong ranged options using the Erdtree Seal, because while Dane’s Footwork has a solid moveset, it is somewhat lacking in the range department although I would say it has better range than the Fist, Claw or Dagger weapons by a small margin. The only Ash of War this build uses is Dryleaf Whirlwind, a leaping attack where the player does 4 spinning kicks and deals 28 stance damage if all kicks connect. What makes this skill so powerful is it synergizes perfectly with Shard of Alexander, the Shattered Stone Talisman and the successive hit buffs from Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Millicent's Prosthesis and the Thorny Cracked Tear, allowing it to deal very impressive damage. Dane's Footwork is buffed even further with this build because it deals high elemental damage allowing the Flame Shrouding Cracked Tear and Holy Shrouding Cracked Tear to be very effective. Throw in Golden Vow and Howl of Shabriri and you have a build that can melt bosses at close range. Since this is a Faith build, it isn't restricted to just Dane's Footwork and can rely on powerful incantations like Black Flame, Flame Fall Upon Them, Giantsflame, Take Thee, Fire Serpent, Multilayered Ring of Light and Black Blade for ranged damage. Ultimately, I loved using this build because of how much versatility it has. Relevant Stats: Vigor: 60 Mind: 30 Endurance: 36 Strength: As low as possible Dexterity: As low as possible Faith: 80 Talismans: 1. Shard of Alexander: Increases the power of weapon skills by 15% 2. Shattered Stone: Increases the power of all kick and stomp-based attacks by 10% 3. Rotten Winged Sword Insignia: Successive Hit Buff (6%, 8%, 13%) 4. Millicent's Prosthesis: Successive Hit Buff (4%, 6%, 11%) and increases Dex by 5. Physick: 1A. Flame Shrouding Cracked Tear: Increases Fire Damage by 20% for 3 Minutes (Flame Art affinity) 1B. Holy Shrouding Cracked Tear: Increases Holy Damage by 20% for 3 Minutes (Sacred affinity) 2. Thorny Cracked Tear: Thorny Cracked Tear: Successive HIt Buff for 3 minutes (9%, 13%, 20%) Flex 1: Opaline Hardtear: Increases all damage negation by 15% for 3 minutes Drip: Bandit's Mask, Alberich's Robe (altered), Messmer's Gauntlets, Fire Knight Greaves

One of my all-time favorites. I carry the helice with me all the time. PVE a wonderful weapon and my "go to" for pvp. And i use the spear talisman. Great Video! 😃 And in case anyone is wondering: yes, it works very well in ng+7/DLC.
