Didn’t anyone ever tell you… Firefighters don’t fish! We just EAT the catch of the day. 🤣 Seriously, thanks for the video. We ended up getting a dozen 878UVii + portables. We have a mix of Motorola XPR-7550e and Hytera PD-982 portables and wanted to add AES-256 encryption UNTIL we got the price quote. ($275 per radio for the AES256 license) Roughly what the entire AnyTone portable costs. Where did you get the snazzy background images for your AnyTone screen? Thanks again for your videos!

THis is very cool , Imagine you’re part of a HAM radio emergency response network, where operators coordinate disaster relief efforts in areas with limited or no internet access. You are responsible for a specific region but can't constantly monitor your radio due to other responsibilities. With the device, you can set it to listen for your call sign or specific keywords like "urgent," "help," or the name of a location you’re monitoring. When someone transmits these keywords, the device immediately sends you an email notification with an audio recording of the transmission.

Beware, folks, that if using an old bluetooth speaker with speakerphone functionality, there may be some situations where you will be transmitting unintentionally. I didn’t experience anything when in dual band mode, but in PDN mode I was horrified to realized I was interfering with a net. I do not have vox enabled either! Best to stick to something with a PTT button like in the video. 73

i bought the cluster but it seems I have issue the new cluster not fitting ? is there difference in since of the cluster ? or I have to remove the stereo trrim and trying to make it fit

Thanks, but it did not work with DJI RC PRO Enterprise. The menu to cast did not appear after the app installation, and when running the app, and clicking a button to Select TV, getting an error "No Chromecast Found", when trying to cast to Samsung TV on the same wireless network.

This is great! Thanks for figuring g this out and posting the instruction. Next best thing to banks which is what the radio really should have. Actually banks and this method of profiles would be great together.

ICYMI. You can no longer use the blf and sub commands when setting up speed dial. The correct format is. fnc=sd;ext=301@$PROXY;nme=Public 1. There is a pdf on ham shack hotline explaining this. IP addresses using blf and sub are getting band. You might want to indicate that this is outdated information and refer to the PDF on the ham shack hotline website.

when ever i open my Channels.csv the format is not the same like yours. the tabell will not showed in different blocks, like row a row b row c........
