I was really looking forward to this fragrance arriving too. I hate how it smells when I first spray it LOL. It has this FUNKAYYYYYY STANK. But then it dries down and its so fantastic!

My man has only made a comment once (on his own at least, because I sometimes ask him if he likes what I'm wearing) and it was for a dupe of hypnotic poison. I need to get my hands on an actual bottle again 😊

Very interesting video - I loved hearing about the pros and cons of living in Australia! I also have always thought your makeup looks so great so I really enjoyed watching your routine. Hope you have a great time visiting back home, especially after being away for so long. As an American who has experienced living abroad for a short time (a year) a number of years ago, I would love to hear your thoughts on the experience of coming back to the US to live for a few months. I know I definitely experienced some reverse culture shock!

G'day! I am born and breed in Aussieland but have traveled many times to the U.S I totally agree that it is a fun and interesting place to visit there but way harsher a reality as you say for those who can't afford or don't have the insurances that are required for medical care and the tax system sounds so crazy to me over there. Why can't they adopt the easier way that we have over here? Surely a win for any government? lol I do enjoy the much cheaper cosmetics and perfume offerings over in the States which floor me when I see how cheap they are in comparison but day to day living I agree (I'm biased of course) Australia is less harsh reality for most.

Ugh I mean it always boils down to money for someone doesn’t it! Otherwise things could be so much easier 😭 I’ll be taking advantage of shopping while I’m here but also the AUD is not doing well against USD at the moment so things aren't** always a steal like they were 5 years ago when I visited!!

The first person to say that OFG is leathery, and therefore a leather scent. Well done you're the only one. Its NOT a wood scent like I keep hearing. It is fairly sweet but it competes with the dry tart oud for prominence and is obscured somewhat by the gasoline note. Sweet and sour red fruity LEATHER scent highlighted with saffron and a touch of gasoline for a bit of rugged dirtiness.

This is an interesting video, thank you for making it. I remember vintage Aventus (pre-2013) having a very sharp bergamot tempered with only a hint of apple and pineapple, and drying down to the smell of paper money, like sticking my nose in a wad of bills. Literally. That strange, slightly papery, slightly inky, slightly dirty smell. And quite loud. So your description of all the apple in Aventus suggests it's a recent version where they increased that note dramatically over what Aventus used to smell like. Generally from what I've read online, Armaf tried to clone earlier batches of this particular Creed, so it's difficult to compare CDNIM in any concentration to current stuff. Your description of the Limited Edition parfum formula seems closest to what I remember Aventus being like.
